“I ordered three shrubs which arrived promptly. One of the shrubs was so pot bound that I had to cut the pot away from the roots but it has been planted about a week and like the others appears healthy”

“Top quality plants. Its slightly disappointing say for example many hearhers are already sold. Might be summer ones are not bought beyond July.in which case my review should be 5 out of 5. Hard to say.”

“Regarding Ashwood Nurseries' Salvias; for much of the year their website can be quite frustrating, having a great many Salvias listed but very few actually available for sale. However when I looked in June, most of the varieties were in stock. I ordered several plants which when they arrived were good strong plants, well packaged and in excellent condition”

“Plant (Painted Lady) arrived in good health and undamaged, same can't be said of the external packaging though. Plant had shifted inside the package and had lost some planting medium. A quick water and some acclimatisation, now planted in it's desired spot next to a Hotlips.”

“I have bought many things from Ashwood Nurseries and they usually arrive looking healthy and strong, and thrive in the garden. My patest purchase is a present for a friend, a small magnolia, that will have to live in the pot for a month or so before I can give it away. The plant was smaller than what you usually receive, hence a 4 rating, simply because I don't yet know how it will do.”

“Plants arrived in good condition and were healthy ( unlike two other nurseries whose hellebore plants arrived with black mould disease ....and I would not use those nurseries again.) Your flowers were the most similar to the examples shown on your website, although one or two were just a very little disappointing. I would definitely use Ashwood Nurseries again, good service and beautifully healthy plants. I hope to hear from you when you have new stock available of the varieties that were sold out.”

“Price of two bare-root fruit trees very reasonable and delivery very prompt. I am slightly worried about the graft union on the greengage tree, so will be keeping an eye on that”

“I love their huge range of plants, especially the hellebores they breed themselves. Their plants are always very healthy. My one criticism is the amount of sellotape and plastic bags that the plants are packaged in. This makes them difficult to unwrap, as I am I have a long term condition which saps my strength. I prefer to buy from companies that think of the environment. Many other online nurseries have already switched to paper and cardboard packaging. I hope you will too.”

“Ordered 2 ‘tea for 2 and cakes’ vouchers online. Fast service, came by post 3 days later complete with a little card for each which was lovely. However, I telephoned first to order via the phone but the person I spoke to wasn’t very helpful and just said I’d got to do it on line. Not everyone can do this which is a shame for those that can’t.”
