“I ordered 5 botanical cyclamens. All healthy plants have been delivered in time. Like the reminding service: I wanted to buy cyclamen purpurescens last year, but ther run of stock. So I asked for a reminder when in stock. And that’s how I got mine now. Very happy.”

“Rhododendron Gomer Waterer arrived promptly, carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard carton. The base of the plastic pot was split, possibly from being dropped; the carton was unmarked, so the damage must have occurred before shipment. The plant itself was in perfect shape, with perky dark green leaves, and there had been no loss of soil.”

“One of very few places to stock this variety of cyclamen, so many thanks. Plants of reasonable quality and delivered promptly. Wanted to order more but although I placed my order within 12 hours of being told the item was back in stock I could only order 5 as that is all the stock that was left. Would use Ashwood again.”

“The plants arrived quickly and were well packed and in very good condition, in fact larger plants than I had really expected. However I think you should know that in spite of all the blurb on the courier's e-mail about not leaving them in a "safe place" the box was left on my front doorstep, no card was put through and although I was at home I didn't hear the doorbell. Luckily I found them quickly but we don't actually use our front door that much so it could have been an issue.”

“Seemed to be straightforward, ordering an amelanchier but I was amazed how quickly it arrived! I hadn’t begun to plan out how I’d deal with it but managed to get it planted and it’s budding nicely. The packaging was damaged on delivery and the supporting cane snapped but the plant itself was fine so I was happy to accept it”

“Excellent service and good delivery/packaging. Slightly disappointed with the male holly. The rootball not as good as the female holly and a few dodgy leaves had to be snipped off. Hopefully it’ll be ok once it gets going.”

“The purchasing service was easy, vouchers arrived super quick and they are presented nicely to give as a gift. I did call to speak to someone in the tearoom about prices of items so I’d know how much to buy in vouchers. She told me she was too busy to talk. I called back after 3pm as she requested, and she was quite rude, couldn’t be bothered to find out prices for me and “didn’t know just odd the top of her head”. After some persistence, she gave me the information I needed, but she made sure I knew she was annoyed by my questions.”

“The plants were left on the doorstep in full view of passerby and they were apparently despatched on 20th October but didn't arrive until the 24th. However they were still in reasonable condition if a bit dry and revived quickly when I watered them and look like good plants”
