“I hired the Ardo breast pump after talking to other mums who express about the best pump to hire. My baby has had a very weak suck since birth we had struggled along from when he was born until now (1 yrs old) he was feeding constantly day and night not just at developmental leaps and growth spurts just all the time I decided that rather than give up breast feeding i would offer a top up of expressed milk with formula powder in then a breast feed. Initially to get him to take a bottle i decided to express all feeds until he was confident with a bottle initially the expressed milk was 98% water with a thin layer of fattier hind milk after expressing for a few days the milk has changed to have a much higher hind milk content instead of looking like skimmed milk now it looks like jersey cream I think his poor sucking meant he was struggling to get the hindmilk, i may now thanks to expressing with the carum be able to offer solely expressed breast milk without added formula then a breast feed, everyone is much happier and better for getting longer than two hours sleep this has improved to 8 hours in a straight night time block, the service so far has been easy to use, quick and problem free, the carum is easy to turn on and use the only thing i found is i needed a smaller insert on one side it has improved the amount of milk expressed from 2-3 oz to 8 oz from one side in a matter of days and it has substantially more hind milk content i'm quite sure with continued use for the rest of the hire period the milk will continue to improve in quality and quantity, if Ardo offered an easy way to split the cost to buy the carum i would buy one for continued long term use at home as i wont be able to afford to hire forever in a few days it has improved the quality of everyones life and sleep immensely.”

“Quality of service and equipment was great. There was a problem with delivery though - the package was failed to be delivered by DPD driver at the first instance and with not further updates from DPD I had to go an pick up the parcel myself.”

“I had a few problems with the company and the product. I cancelled my first order (single pump) within 10 minutes of placing it over the phone. I was told that the order would be refunded that day but when I called up a week later to chase the refund was told that it was never processed, even though the pump was never sent! Poor service from Ardo. I then ordered a double pump which arrived, but it does not fit properly. I would not recommend this product unless you have large breasts as it is clearly not designed for small/medium (size C/D) size breasts. There is only one size of rubber inserts,otherwise the inserts are made of an uncomfortable plastic. They do sell a smaller size plastic insert but they cost £5 each on the website! This seems a bit expensive, and considering the cost of the kit it should really come with a range of inserts for common sizes. Overall pretty disappointed and a bit of a waste of money. I’m surprised at the generally good reviews for this product.”

“I love this pump! Purchased as pumping with my existing pump was painful and noisy and it put me off. Now I actually enjoy pumping and pump everyday! It is quiet and pain free. I definitely get more milk with this pump too. I love all the accessories that come with this product and the travel bag is great too. The quality is very good and it is a real bargain compared to similar products on the market. I was nervous about spending on a product I knew nothing about but it was the best decision that I made. Very happy Mummy! :)”

“I decided on purchasing a new pump as was finding my tommee tippee one was cracking and hurting my nipples. I am very pleased with this pump so far. It is very quiet and the settings on it are fantastic as my previous one did not have this only 3 setting to adjust the length of vacuum that is all. I also feel this does not hurt and produces more milk. Trying to pump both sides can be tricky though. I would definitely recommend this as a fantastic electric breast pump to anyone who asked. Staff were very helpful on the phone and my pump arrived swiftly next morning. Thank you ARDO! Colette”

“This is the third pump I have purchased (the previous 2 from another company) and this is by far the easiest to use and certainly the most comfortable. It's comes with a couple of different shields so you can get a good fit and it really is quiet compared to others on the market. I highly recommend this as a first time mum.”

“Ardo calypso double electric breast pump - fantastic breast pump, very efficient in expressing milk, and easy to use! Staff at Ardo very helpful. Much better than having to manually pump, easier on the wrists with lots of fab accessories to complement the breast pump”
