“I used the bigger version of this breast pump during my stay on the maternity ward. I had also used the Medela breast pump but preferred using Ardo's. I ordered the calypso double pump version to save time when I was home. There also wasn't much difference in the price between the single and double pump and so it worked out more cost effective to buy the double pump version. The pump is quite quiet when in use. It is easy to assemble and is light weight. Therefore it can easily be picked up and used in any room you may want to feed in. It's also handy that it can be operated via the mains or by battery. This is especially useful if you are away from home and needing to express. The pump is comfortable and easy to use. The double pump comes with cleaning brush, 2 bottles and different size breast shields. I highly recommend this breast pump. The only negatives are that it should come with a carry case/bag and also more than 2 bottles.”

“I had used the Ardo Carum Hospital grade pump whilst my daughter was in PICU and was so impressed with it that I wanted an Ardo pump for home. I chose the Calypso double and am very pleased with my purchase (in fact I prefer it to the hospital one). The pump's settings allow me to set the cycle and vacuum independently to what I need, the pump itself is very quiet and easy to keep clean. Exactly what I needed and I'd highly recommend this pump.”

“I bought the double pump and it is brilliant. Easy to change from single to double pump depending on what you need. Quick to set up once I worked out what to do. Really quiet! It can be tricky to adjust the settings when both pumps are on-but manageable. Love the next day delivery!”

“We had to return this pump 2 times within the space of two weeks. It basically just conked out, gave up the ghost. We were told on each occasion by the company that this had never happened before. Really?”

“I have been using the Calypso double pump for over a week now and it has been a lifesaver, as I have experienced several problems with breastfeeding my first baby. Now my baby is still getting the breastmilk and I am no longer in pain. I ordered the pump by 2pm and had it delivered for free the next day - that's an amazing service! It took me a little while to understand how to assemble it as there are several parts, but I got there in the end. The different parts are very useful. Overall I would recommend this pump and company to anyone.”

“After being able to borrow a one of that Adro pumps from my local children's centre, I decided to buy one before the loan had to be returned. Without the Adro I would not be able to express and would feel that I could not have anyone look after my little on as we think she's milk intolerant.”

“This pump is easy to set up and a good compact size. It is easy to adjust the settings. I have only had it a week but the parts seem robust. I was attracted to the fact it is a closed system as I felt this was hygienic. It would be good if it came with a wider range of size fittings.”

“I ordered the double pump as heard it was the quietest on the market. Previously used medula mini (very noisy). Price is amazing when compared with others of this standard also. I was very impressed with the product. Comes with lots of bits (though unfortunately i cannot use these bits as they are all too big). Easy to set up and use and the dual mode helps with let down so a lot less painful than previous pump. I had to order smaller inserts as 26mm was too big. Spoke with viv at customer service via email and she was so helpful and agreed to send me the inserts to try as the product was sore for me and i couldnt use it. I find the pump so comfortable now i have the correct inserts and it has good suction and produces a great volume in a short amount of time (and i can watch tele while expressing as it really is so quiet) As an addition i also bought ardo hand pump for when i am on nights out as its much more portable. This is also a great product xx”

“Excellent pump for the price. I used a hospital grade pump whilst my baby was in nicu and this one is just as good. Just marked down one star as does not work with batteries..?! But would recommend this pump to anyone.”

“This expressing machine is so much quieter than the others and because you can express both sides at once, it is quicker as well. It is also very easy to assemble / disassemble and clean. I would highly recommend this product.”

“I bought the ardo double pump in order to enable my husband to take over at least one of the feeds for my 8 week old exclusively breastfed baby. The pump was a joy to use as it was easy to set up and get started. I was able to pump whilst watching the television because the pump is so quiet and very efficient. The fact that the pump comes with a variety of different sized phalanges was the main reason I decided to choose this pump over any other and remain very happy with my choice.”
