“As my little one won't latch on, I am bottle feeding expressed breast milk. I hired the Ardo Carum breastpump. The product and service received was excellent. Hiring a breastpump couldn't be easier, it's a fast efficient service and I highly recommend it.”

“Once again, second baby around, Ardo have been fantastic. Very helpful and knowledable on the phone. Pump arrived following day and the easy arrangement of automatic renewel of hire every four weeks has meant ive only had to worry myself over it when im ready to return it, leaving me to focus on looking after myself and baby. If you need to express regularly - you really do need a decent pump and these double pumps are hospital grade and used at my local maternitt unit. The addeed benefit of being able to order alternative sized breast shield parts has been great- because one size def does not fit all. Thank you Ardo for what has been exceptional service again and a real life line for a mum exclusively pumping.”

“Really fast service. We sorted out the rental and payment of a breast pump in 5 minutes. The delivery was done next day without issues. This all happened between Christmas and New Year.”

“Great service. Easy to order, delivery was quick (next day) and a SMS was sent to confirm delivery hour. Initial and on-going payment arrangements smooth. The pump works well. Would recommend.”

“I tried different pumps but this is one I use in hospital and well worth hiring. The pump itself is far superior to others that I've used and the hiring of the machine has been so quick and easy to do. I'd definitely recommend it!”

“Very powerful but quiet pump. Quite a bit bigger than I expected in size. Very easy to use. I have hired it to increase my milk supply. Been using it for a week, and with regular pumping my supply has gone up already. Not loads, but I can definitely see an improvement.”

“Can't recommend this pump enough, I was given this make pump from neonatal to express while my son was in & found it great. I had to return the pump to the hospital when my son was discharged so ordered my own. It's simple to use with simple controls, able for double pumping which is great for reducing the time your expressing. After using avent & tommee Tippee I would recommend this pump to anyone”

“I hired the Ardo Carum pump after my newborn failed to latch on properly but I still wanted to feed him breast milk. I was really impressed with the pump. You can change the suction and speed independently which is very useful and being able to double pump means cutting down on time spent expressing which is very handy with a newborn in the house. It is very quiet too which is another bonus. The only negative I found was that the machine resets to the default settings each time. It would be very useful if the machine rmembered the settings that you chose from the last time you used it to save having to change the settings each time. Apart from this, a very good breast pump that I am happy to recommend.”

“I hired the Ardo breast pump after talking to other mums who express about the best pump to hire. My baby has had a very weak suck since birth we had struggled along from when he was born until now (1 yrs old) he was feeding constantly day and night not just at developmental leaps and growth spurts just all the time I decided that rather than give up breast feeding i would offer a top up of expressed milk with formula powder in then a breast feed. Initially to get him to take a bottle i decided to express all feeds until he was confident with a bottle initially the expressed milk was 98% water with a thin layer of fattier hind milk after expressing for a few days the milk has changed to have a much higher hind milk content instead of looking like skimmed milk now it looks like jersey cream I think his poor sucking meant he was struggling to get the hindmilk, i may now thanks to expressing with the carum be able to offer solely expressed breast milk without added formula then a breast feed, everyone is much happier and better for getting longer than two hours sleep this has improved to 8 hours in a straight night time block, the service so far has been easy to use, quick and problem free, the carum is easy to turn on and use the only thing i found is i needed a smaller insert on one side it has improved the amount of milk expressed from 2-3 oz to 8 oz from one side in a matter of days and it has substantially more hind milk content i'm quite sure with continued use for the rest of the hire period the milk will continue to improve in quality and quantity, if Ardo offered an easy way to split the cost to buy the carum i would buy one for continued long term use at home as i wont be able to afford to hire forever in a few days it has improved the quality of everyones life and sleep immensely.”

“Quality of service and equipment was great. There was a problem with delivery though - the package was failed to be delivered by DPD driver at the first instance and with not further updates from DPD I had to go an pick up the parcel myself.”

“I had a few problems with the company and the product. I cancelled my first order (single pump) within 10 minutes of placing it over the phone. I was told that the order would be refunded that day but when I called up a week later to chase the refund was told that it was never processed, even though the pump was never sent! Poor service from Ardo. I then ordered a double pump which arrived, but it does not fit properly. I would not recommend this product unless you have large breasts as it is clearly not designed for small/medium (size C/D) size breasts. There is only one size of rubber inserts,otherwise the inserts are made of an uncomfortable plastic. They do sell a smaller size plastic insert but they cost £5 each on the website! This seems a bit expensive, and considering the cost of the kit it should really come with a range of inserts for common sizes. Overall pretty disappointed and a bit of a waste of money. I’m surprised at the generally good reviews for this product.”
