Was waiting for my delivery today. Driver came and called me saying that my door buzz is not working and asking if I can come down to collect the item. I said that I am at home alone with my kids and can't leave them. I said that there is another entrance on the other side of the block where door buzz is working (I have successfully received my 2 other deliveries that day). He just dropped the phone and never showed up and not responded to my other calls. After 5 mins my husband came home, he called the driver from his phone (just to make sure that the driver will pick up call from different phone number), the driver answered and my husband said that he have to come back with delivery. And the driver just said: "fuck off"! I called your company customer service straight away, but the person from customer service said that he can not reach the driver as well and left him few voice messages. While talking to your customer service driver called my husband and said he is coming back (saying again words like "fuck"..etc) like he wanted to scare him, saying that he will wait downstairs. My husband went out but the driver did not show (what a surprise!). Soon after this I have received confirmation email saying that I was not at home so the driver left the card. We are shocked! Just no words!

Contacted APC after the date range that Amazon gave for delivery had passed to find out where my package was and was informed that they'd tried to deliver it twice. Since there was no notification of these delivery attempts - no card through the door, email, nothing - there was no way I could have done anything about arranging a redelivery before the date I contacted them. Was informed that they only make two attempts at delivery and I'd need to contact the sender to authorise a redelivery. While trying to organise this, I got another email saying that since they'd had the parcel for over 7 days they'd returned it to the sender. At this point I gave up and told the sender to treat this as a return and refund me through Amazon. They'll need to get rid of APC and replace them with someone vaguely competent before I'll buy from them again. This is a shame, but I absolutely refuse to deal with any more of APC's utter uselessness.

So extremely unhelpful. They left a calling card without attempting to get access through reception- somebody on reception at all times and they said that nobody from APC rang the buzzer. The calling card was left at the gate and with a consignment number that did not work. When I finally got hold of someone over the phone the woman could not have cared any less and said that the item had been returned to sender and when I raised that I had spent £14 on a delivery that had not happened she essentially said that it wasn't their problem. When I explained that no number had been left and that the consignment number had not worked, she informed me that I needed to add 000 in front of the digits left- how on earth would someone know this? Why not just write the correct number?

UPDATE TO MY EARLIER REVIEW - THINGS GET WORSE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES SIMPLY DO NOT HELP, TAKE TWO DAYS TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE, AND THE RESPONSE IS: COMPUTER SAYS NO - YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE SENDER!!!! IGNORE THE 'SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE' email from Leanne - it's generic, might as well have been written by a robot (maybe it has). By the time she's 'investigated', the parcel has disappeared back to wherever it came from (anyone's guess). CAN YOU BELIEVE IT: I finally discover after nearly 10 emails, several phone calls and a quite serious amount of rage at this absolutely USELESS company, that my parcel has been returned to the sender! Even though I contacted APC within one day of receiving a missed delivery card and even though APC's website says: Goods may be returned to the sender after 3 days if no response has been received to the ‘Sorry we missed you’ calling card that was posted or the ‘Sorry we missed you’ email sent. ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS - AVOID USING APC AT ALL COSTS: IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS OWNER, YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS LEVEL OF COMPLETE INADEQUACY AND INEPT STAFF WHO EITHER TREAT YOU LIKE AN IDIOT OR HAVE NO AWARENESS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. I didn't even receive an apology for the failure of this company to deliver a parcel to me, or for their inability to attempt redelivery even once, or for the wasted time trying to deal with this quite simple operation - APC make Royal Mail look like superstars!

What an appalling company!! I would give NO STARS if possible. I have never experienced such appalling customer service from a delivery company before, and have been left feeling very upset after speaking to an incredibly rude and patronising man called Karl at your Newhaven depot, and his manager Shaun or Steve - his name kept changing – both of whom refused to provide their surnames and both of whom hung up the phone on me twice. All they would say is 'we came to deliver your parcel three times so won't deliver again', which is wrong – I've received only one card through the door after which I arranged redelivery for Tuesday 8th. Then I waited at home for a whole day on Tuesday 8th but no delivery came - nobody rang or knocked at the door and no card was posted. So that was a complete waste of time – and I am - like most people - a very busy person who doesn't have time to waste sitting around for a non-existent delivery. I didn't receive an email or text or call to let me know what time the delivery would be made, by whom, or to let me know that the delivery driver was waiting on the doorstep. To be patronised, shouted down and spoken down to by so-called customers services at your Newhaven depot, including a manager, and to have the phone put down after it rang for over 5 mins in the first place is not only harmful to your business, APC, but suggests that you need to invest significantly more time and money in finding better staff as the staff you do have should not be representing you - they're not an asset to your company - take a look at the bad reviews you are receiving and take action! I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY TO SEND MY POST.

Parcel delivery cancelled the day before due delivery date. The delivery date had been booked for weeks. I tried to arrange me to collect it from Aberdeen as it contained vital disability electrical equipment my son needed but good luck trying to get anyone to answer. Parcel was worth nearly £2000 and supposed to be signed for but was left outside my house in the pouring rain. If my neighbours hadn't seen him leave it and went and took it inside for me who knows what would have happene. Disgraceful service and company.

Parcel not delivered on the day specified on your email, day off work taken at cost to me for no reason, now want to deliver on another day so another day off needed, best bit is I have received an email saying the driver tried to deliver at 16:15 and no one was in when I was sat looking out of my window at that time, says card was left when nothing was , driver never even drove past the house. Not the first time this has happened with your company !!!!!

Paid for next day delivery. On the day when the parcel was supposed to arrive, I got nothing. Called them up and they said that the driver marked my address as non existent, even though I've had deliveries from them before. I was promised a delivery next day in the morning, which now I find out is not going to happen and will be delivered tomorrow. Completely unacceptable, will keep posting reviews till I get this delivered ASAP!!!!!

As I was given a two hour window for delivery, I kinda expected my parcel would be delivered within that timeframe. Unfortunately, not provided nearly two hours later, I'm still awaiting delivery, nearly two hours later. Not unacceptable.

After waiting for a scheduled delivery, given a two hour window, which all other courier services seem to meet, I'm disappointed that this delivery service (never used them before), have failed to meet it. I will not order goods in future, knowing this company are the last detail.

Probably the worst delivery company I know of. It took me 3 weeks to get hold of my package. I have been told several times that my package was delivered to different places, the driver did not really bother to step out the car, left the card withthout consignemt number...I had to send several emails, call several times only to find out that I have to pick up my package from depot. Which is 1.5h from where i live. If you will be able to, do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all cost. I would give 0 starts if it would be possible.

Please never use this company. They called me a liar, hung up on me and the delivery man gave me back chat. A time sensitive delivery was not delivered on time costing time and money. They don't care so use another company instead.

Ordered a soundbar from Reliant Direct. My order was due to arrive on Friday 6th Sep. As I would not be at home I left a note sellotaped to my front door asking the courier to deliver to my neighbour who was happy to accept the parcel. I passed by the depot in Aberdeen, run by or franchised to Menzies Distribution Aberdeen.I was told that my item was out for delivery. Imagine my surprise when I returned home and no parcel had been delivered to my neighbour. Checked the web site for tracking and it said that delivery had been attempted and a card left! There was no card and I doubt that the delivery had been attempted. Avoid APC/Menzies Distribution. Still trying to get my parcel. Neither company answering their phones nor responding to emails. 0/10 You have been warned.

I've been home since yesterday, 3rd September, waiting for a parcel that was meant to be delivered yesterday and no one ever showed up. Today I'm home again, waiting, and nothing. In order to track the parcel, I've called the head office at least twice and I've called the depot office 5 times. The head office was completely useless, once they have directed my call to the depot, claiming that they couldn't get in touch with the courier. As I called the depot, I was put on hold, every time, and I waited about 45 minutes. Just two of the phone calls were answered by the depot office and, yet, I have no parcel and no idea where is my box. Overall, I'm extremely dissastisfied with such low-class service that completely neglected me, though I'm paying for an easy service, that is just about to get a parcel delivered.

I’ve tried to send small parcel just in UK , I have told my sister that the parcel is next day delivery schedule before 12 o’clock. She had a phone call from the driver to go in the parking lot (Not even her own door flat) ! When she get there she had waited 10 min and no one show up! She called him no one respond! My husband call the company they said they will try again. We don’t have any evidence that they actually tried, after over 2 weeks parcel came back to me ! A have paid 12£ and they said we not gonna get any money refund. It’s look that they didn’t even try to leve any notes where my sister can collect the parcel from local APC store or when they can expect the driver . Not relay able company. Not recommended to anyone...

Watch a delivery van pull up , open the back door, go in back for 5 minutes, get out and drive off . Reading emails 10 mins later , to see no reply email, from this company, saying they had left a card . What a load of liars. Phoned customer service to be told he had been to my house, and had taken a picture, did I have a silver car on the front. Yes that is my car. Well why didn’t he come to my door with delivery??? Or the card he never left . Customer service asked did I watch him take photo , no but I did see him outside for a least 5 mins , which looked as though he couldn’t find my order. I have never experienced such ridiculous service. Driver is now out of my area, of course he is , don’t think you can get that far in 15 minutes. Shocking service.
