“I have been using AW for 3 years I was very pleased to start with but now finding more and more products out of stock. Some of the gem stones have now been out of stock for months, I don't want to find a new supplier as AW stones are so good but unfortunately I don't seem to have a choice. I was also very disappointed with the help I didn't receive from customer service with a problem on a recent order. To sum up my feelings, AW has great products with great prices when you can get hold of what you need but I do feel things have gone down hill since I started using them.”

“I reviewed the catalogues and found a lot of things I wanted were out of stock. I ordered alternatives, and still 2 items I ordered were not available, I think I also received a replacement alternative which is not what I wanted. I received an immediate refund and when I queried a few things the reasons were explained. I am not sure I accept that stone items may be unavailable for inordinate amounts of time due to unreliable suppliers. Change your suppliers then? You are one of the only wholesalers of this type of product at these prices. The items I did receive were good quality, especially the crystal pyramids which are stunning. The colours of the pendulums are not so good as the photos, I expect this is in some way due to stone variables but for example the yellow quartz is just not yellow, rather disappointing. The freebies are a nice idea thanks but unusable.”

“I was happy with the amount of choice on offer.But unhappy to not be told of the items not available in my order which took it below the total for free postage It would have been nice to have the option to replace them instead of it just not arriving and the total being different but the refund was done quickly thank you”

“Used AW in 2008 and 2012 and use to deliver next day made a large order which was delivered to an old address even after changing details. Orders now taking 3 or 4 days due to Christmas rush also half of stock seems out of stock. Customer service seems very good but unable to use as one stop shop as can't meet demand due to limited stock.”

“The packaging of incense sticks was nice but the actual smell of all products was barely noticeable. The tea lights, bath bomb, diffuser and incense sticks were too mild to notice.”

“I have been shopping with Ancient Wisdom for many years, and over this time they have improved the website and have some very good and interesting stock. Customer service is generally very good and I will often use the chat facility, which can be very useful for multitasking. My main bugbear is that they are in the stone age when it comes to PPD (pick, pack & dispatch). Having worked for a wholesaler for years we would offer a same day dispatch service (for next day delivery), with Ancient Wisdom 3 days is deemed acceptable. I have tried to message them to explain the urgency but then told that 3 days is the norm. The time it takes small stores to get the stock in is crucial, your customers can order their products anywhere these days, and I need to keep my customers happy. This is something I will need to work around, and perhaps you will too....”

“I actually didn't complete my order as when I got to the basket my order was approximately £30, but with delivery and tax it shot up to double that! I had a look at another site and managed to get what I wanted and free delivery. I will still look on your site as I do love the products but as I am on my own work wise I have to watch my budget.”

Hi Denise, I do apologise for this. Unfortunatelly we do have a minimum order policy which is £50+vat . If the order is below this amount then we charge £5+vat administration cost. Delivery charge is £7.50 and free on orders over £175+vat. Our regular customers who are eligible for gold reward membership don't pay administration fees for small orders. Hope this helps a bit. “I have got orders from ur self twice first time was ok but got 2 things twice cos u didn't have what I wanted so u gave me what u wanted . N 2nd time there was a problem in delivering got a box with out anything . Rung n complained n 2 more boxes was delivered. Then same again u gave me two of the same thing because u didn't have what I wanted in stock . So instead of telling me n giving me option to chose what I want you just went a head n gave me what you wanted to give me”

“Overall I would say I am very impressed by Ancient Wisdom and their products. There have been a few issues with delivery recently, with items arriving damaged, but problems have soon been rectified. I'm not sure whether the soap is now being made by a different company as recently the quality has not been as good as before, but my customers are happy and cannot get enough of the soap and bath bombs so I will happily continue to reorder.”

“Hi most of my products ordered where great but was dissappointed with rhe bath bombs as they where all cracked due to packaging all loose around them so i had to sell much cheaper than intended a oart from that the rest of order was fine kind regards claire”

“Product review wax melts. I received two which are bordering on rancid- lavender fields and lemon harvest. Got complaints from clients and tried them myself. Lavender definite, lemon has funny after scent. Won't be buying those again. The Japanese magnolia is divine and here comes my biggest biggest complaint. So much is always out of stock. I wait for one item to come back and then everything else I want to order is oos. I have to look at your website everyday even when I ask to be emailed when something is back in stock Very frustrating. Great range of items.”

“Happy with the service at AW but disappointed that many of the items I ordered were not in stock but still showing as available on the site. However, I managed to get similar replacements even though they were not my first choice. Only issue on receipt were the bath bombs which arrived cracked and fragile, looks like they may have been dropped but happy with everything else.”
