I visited the showroom without an appointment. The staff were hostile, brusque, unhelpful and seemed oblivious to the fact that I wanted to part with money. The Office Mgr complained that she would have to pick the order herself, which consisted of bracelets and essential oils and repeatedly told me she could only give me twenty minutes of her time, despite my saying that I knew what I wanted and didn't need a 2-hour appointment. I really have to re-think our relationship.

Dear Dulcie, Thank you for your review and I am sorry you have had a bad experience when visiting us in Sheffield. Both my colleague Luciana and I did not wish to make you feel unwelcome. Since we were not expecting your arrival and it was quite late in the day, we wanted to make you aware of this for your future reference, however we did not mean to come across as hostile. The last hour and a half of the day here is usually the busiest for us with all the couriers turning up to take deliveries for the day, hence we avoid scheduling showroom visits in this time. Luciana, the Showroom Manager, said she would pick your order as the warehouse staff were dealing with the couriers. This was not to complain to you, but to let you know why she would be leaving you on your own for a little while. She instructed you to come down to reception when you were ready so that I can take you to the large statues area and show you the products, which is what I did. Once more, I am sorry if we came across unhelpful as this was not our intention. When we parted, I was left under the impression that you were happy with seeing the large statues and that you would be getting back to us on Monday with regards to collecting one of them and I made sure you had all our details on the catalogue I have passed to you. I understand that we might have come across as a little bit rushed, however this was due to the time of the day and the workload involved in that time. If you do decide to book an appointment to visit us again in the future, both Luciana and I will be happy to assist. Once more many apologies for the inconvenience. not impressed with the aromatherapy bath salts. Customers say the same ????. Display stands came covered in cobwebs. First and last order me thinks.

Hi Paul, Thank you for the review. We actually make the bath salts here on site and they are one of our good selling lines. However, you can return the bath salts if you're are not happy with them. goods were good although one walking stick was broken and didn't get reply from my email, I would say the goods sent for free were not as good as suggested, but overall good company.

The stock is great as usual, but the packaging was not as expected. I pay for on going transport as I live on an island and bizarrely 1 clock was put in a box on it's own, I have sold the clock but at a loss as I have to pay £5.40 per box. Other 5 framed items were put in bubble wrap in another 2 separate parcels with no FRAGILE tape 3 of the five items were broken , I have been refunded For the broken items but have paid another £10.80 for the boxes to be delivered and this will have to be paid for out of the profit from 2 items not five so another possible loss there too.

It would be really helpful if you offered a next day delivery option. Most of the items I regularly order seem to be almost permanently out of stock i.e. large numbers of the aromatherapy burners and incense. But, as a small business, I really appreciate the minimum order being only £50.

Regarding the out of stock items most woodware products, boxes and incense come from India and sometimes it may take quite a while to restock them. Also our IT team is currently working on a new stock management system which will ensure that products get reordered in time and minimize the number of out of stocks. Kind regards, Katka

My biggest problem is continuity of supply, as I have very a very small storage area in the shop. I therefore need to make my orders little and often, this only breaks down when I cannot resupply from you

Great service but i do think the room sprays are expensive. It is also very expensive for shops to have t pay the full price to use as testers; one has to have testers to sell this kind of product, and it would be a good idea to offer a discount to stores for the testers.

The massage oil is very good value , but the smell is a bit poor , the sensual one is very sweet and cheap smelling

The products are generally good. Incentives etc good. The selection of products are good but could be a bit better in places such as packaging could be more varied. Also basic packaging can be off the mark though price wise, generally paper bags etc can be got elsewhere quite a bit cheaper which means I spend less when I do order and order less frequent as I'm not ordering the basic necessities here. The delivery price and time is OK - however - bit slow to process and dispatch compared to other wholesalers. The main thing I would say is that the online chat help has been bad every single time I used it bar one single time it was fine. I have been told they "don't know" for simple things like dimensions, been told the completely wrong information about simple things like dimensions, have had very long waiting times, and wouldn't say politeness is great either, generally the chat help leaves me aggravated and feeling less happy to buy.

The value of the products was fine, the delivery prompt and the service perfectly ok. However, I was slightly annoyed and upset that the 'welcome gift' of free products which you promised to attach to my order was - to a large extent - missing. Because it was 'free' it was not something I felt able to chase up, but it just left a slightly sour taste and is one of the reasons I haven't ordered from you since. You did ask for my opinion - I hope you don't mind receiving it!

I checked on the welcome gifts and they actually were replaced with similar items from the same product group (up to the advertised value of £100 in retail prices). Even alternative gifts were supplied the original gifts are still listed on the invoice as 'out of stock'. I have to admit it is rather confusing. I'll talk to our accounts department about it. Unfortunately on this occasion one of my items was sent incorrectly and one is falling apart I am waiting for a response after contacting on Friday. All other orders have been perfect and arrive in great time and perfect condition.

I would rate the customer service very good as in the people on communication side telephone & internet friendly, polite & keen to resolve any issues Collection/ Packing department poor I would rate the quality of the products normal-good I would rate the availability of the products very poor

I have ordered from several other online wholesales, cautiously initially, placing small orders to see what the quality was like and hadn't been disappointed by any of the goods. Based on those experiences we placed our order with Ancient Wisdom with a little more confidence but I have to say I'm a little disappointed in some of the products. We ordered for example the Dragon Balm cream (along with others in the range) which uses was described beautifully on the website but on the jar there is no information for the customer to read....And just today a customer asked what do you use the lavender gel for...again there was no information on the container. The jars these products come in also could be stronger with a better lid as we are experiencing some leakage from them. Some of the other items I'm a little disappointed in and more than likely would not have bought them had I handled and seen them before buying. Bath bombs ,chill pills and fizz hearts were what drew us to Ancient Wisdom and I have to say they smell really good and have been selling today on their first day displayed. A staff member has taken one home to try and said they are every bit as good as "Lush"...so we are happy with that We ordered a soap cutter but a aromatherapy box was sent in error but this was dealt with easily enough by a phone call. All in all will I order from Ancient Wisdom again...with out a doubt,..but will order new lines cautiously to ensure the quality is what we are after.

I have been using Ancient Wisdom, for a while now, they are normally quite quick on delivery I normally get my goods within 3/5 days to be honest the last two orders have taken a while but they are normally here and I know because of the break at Christmas there must have been a pile of orders waiting on there return. The only downfall they have where delivery is concerned is that most companies let me know via text when I can expect delivery but these don't. Also The bottles that I now buy in bulk, the tops are a little ill fitting on some of them. But over all I am pleased with my products

H.i I find your product's okay but my main concern is your website. Every time I go to make an order, everything is in stock, but when it comes to picking it and delivery some items are missing because of being out of stock, This is so annoying especially when your in need of an item, and you can't get it because your website is not updated regularly.

I have been finding your website very difficult from last year. Slow and deleting products after I press buy. My computer ok with other sites. Maybe this is an on going problem for your site. Worth investigating .
