“Nice to see smaller puzzles on the market”

“I liked the idea of this radio, thinking it would be perfect for my stepmother, who has Alzheimer’s. However, this radio was huge and very heavy. My stepmother would have rejected it immediately because of this. I knew from the picture that it was not beautiful but I had assumed it was small and neat. I was wrong. What I cannot understand is WHY this radio has to be enormous (and ugly). It cannot be difficult to produce a simple neat radio with the controls hidden by a cover or similar.”

“My mother is now 96 and went blind due to glaucoma a few years ago. She relied on her talking clock when she was at home but it's got lost since she went into a carehome, so I bought her a new one and she's delighted. It's only when you know someone who can't look at the clock or a calendar that you realise how often we do this when we can see and how disorientating it can be not to know what time or day it is. The button design is really easy to use, and hard to knock over and my mum kept pressing it while I was on the phone to her to 'prove she had got it'.”

“Bought one for my wife in hospital after stroke /dementia diagnosis . I was delighted at her positive response to music we had enjoyed throughout our lives together ,over 50 yrs . Tapping her thighs in tune with the music Encouraging her to dance with me and even correcting my dance steps .I gave her Sennheiser headphones with it . Only criticism ! Volume control -- Access to 2 small holes under player can be tricky .”

“Bought for my 97 yr old mother in law who has dementia and had been calling her daughter dozens of times a day from her flat. She has now moved into a care home and we wanted to be able to keep in contact but stop her making such calls. This solves that problem perfectly. I only wish we had known about such a phone option earlier!”

“This is an excellent product! I bought this for a relative with dementia and we programmed medication reminders with encouraging messages. It was easy to programme, my relative is able to switch the alarms off easily as it is quite intuitive, and it gives clear time and date information as well.
