“This feels very substantial and really nice quality. The photo is easy to change and the settings are simple, the display is nice and large. My only problem was that my mother's eyesight is very poor and she can't read the display - I think if it had a backlight it would help (it wouldn't be a problem for most, just for those with particularly poor eyesight).”

The built-in sensors respond to motion and touch, so stroking the cat will activate the movements and the purrs/meows. No sensors need to be pressed.

“Purrfect! My mother has advanced vascular dementia. We have managed to keep her in her own home with the help of carers four time a day. She use to have a little dog but sadly he passed away a couple of years ago and mum wasn't up to caring for another pet. However, we couldn't get her to understand that he had gone and she would keep calling for him. This cat seems to have helped. Although I think she realises this cat isn't real, she loves cuddling it and talks to it. He face lights up when it purrs or meows. Would throughly recommend.”

“I have no issue with AlzProducts as a supplier and thank Yvette for her professionalism in dealing with my post sales questions. It is unfortunate that this device was unable to recognise my five years old Samsung A40 and while it may have been possible to find a workaround, this was not a guaranteed solution, Yvette promptly provided the necessary return authorisation and AlzProducts' refund was immediate.”

“Despite the website accepting my order and indicating they had sufficient stock, they were unable to supply the goods in the timeframe they offered. They also prevented us ordering with a discount for disabilities, despite us caring for 30 residents with dementia!”

We're very sorry to hear that this customer was unhappy with how their order progressed. Unfortunately we did not have enough stock to dispatch their whole order in one go. We contacted the customer immediately to notify them and to apologise for the inconvenience but the customer decided to cancel the order. VAT Relief for the disabled is a government scheme that allows the zero-rating of goods if certain conditions are met. To offer the VAT Relief we have to adhere to a strict set of rules from HMRC. The relief is only available for individuals who are buying the products for their own personal or domestic use. The relief is not available for businesses unless they are a registered charity.
