The memory calendar is a good idea and design. Just one suggestion, add ‘Morning’ ‘Afternoon’ and ‘Evening’ to the section you write in. We added this to stop confusion with the the time of the different entries on each page

My Mum has Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Painting was one of her favourite hobbies she was pretty good at it. Have been looking for activities for her and this is an absolute hit she loved it. Just require a paintbrush and some water, she thought she had painted the peacock herself, she looked so so happy. What a great idea, thank you.

Musical Bingo was a great hit, this new version has everything that we loved about the old one but with a change of songs. Great for getting shy people to join in and is popular with people who struggle with the strain of a conversation. Lots of memories stimulated. A great success.

Delighted! - Purchased for my elderly bedbound mum, she loves it as a companion in her care home room, sits next to her bed and the sensory movements are encouraging her to move her arms. The grandchildren love it when they visit too, very lifelike purr and movements.

Straightforward to deal with.

Bought this for a friend to use in their lounge, despite having one in the bedroom, to stop them calling me at ridiculous hours to find out what time it is

Nicely boxed. Good for memories.

I bought the robodog for my mum who is 89 and has Alzheimer’s. She named her dog Daisy. Daisy has made an enormous difference to mum’s life. She talks to Daisy and Daisy keeps her company. The only problem is that mum thinks Daisy is real and feeds her. Daisy gets very dirty as a result. We now have 2 identical robodogs so that one can be cleaned whilst the other is in action!

May enjoys the comforter in the evenings mostly, sometimes she hides it and finds it again. Yes I think it’s a good product and it definitely stimulates, settles and prevents her from wandering around.

Tab Time Automatic Pill Dispenser. This was purchased for 90 year old father in law with dementia who has recently had the number of tablets taken on a daily basis increased and was getting confused as to what ones he had taken and when. Daily dosage boxes were used at first, with 4 compartments and a slide on / off lid. Problem was that even though the boxes were loaded up for him, he would take the lids of and replaced them, the wrong way round so he was taking the morning tablets in the evening and vice versus. The automatic pill dispenser seemed to be the answer. It has 28 compartments and up to 6 daily alarms can be set. The lid is lockable and can be clear or solid colour. With the clear lid, you can see what tablets are in each compartment and when it needs to be refilled. I have had difficulty in trying to explain how to get the tablets out - he has picked it up with both hands and shaken it so that the tablets ended up on the floor. He has also rung me up to say that a red light has been flashing for 30 minutes and he can’t turn it of . Tell him he has not taken the tablets and if he picks it up and gets the tablets out the red light will go out. I have put a label on top showing the times the alarms are set for. I will also be placing some coloured tape around the opening through which the tablets come out, in the hope that it will make it easier to identify. The battery compartment cover is easily removed - perhaps too easy. Tape has been placed over it in such a way that it should be easy to see if the batteries have been tampered with. It is really early days and hope that he will, get use to it.

We were highly recommended to purchase the companion pet cat for Mum by Nurses who had tried and tested with many dementia patients. She now loves it and talks to it and it really is such a great source of companionship bringing a sense of security as well.
