“Remote controls were great for my dad as well as the clock ,which I fancy myself. Pill dispenser : fantastic with only one slight drawback, alam is not very loud as my dad is deaf in one ear otherwise would recommend to all”

“I bought this for my 92 year old father who has dementia. I can't fault alzproducts for the transaction including fast despatch and I was very pleased to find that when it arrived it had already been set up. There are two downsides which spoil an otherwise brilliant product. The numeral for the date comes with a comma (why?) and is set far to the left away from the month which is unpleasant on the eye for anybody, but especially confusing for somebody with dementia. Half an hour after we started it my father asked me what the 6 was for. Fortunately I think after a couple of days with the figure changing he has got the hang of it but in my view this does spoil the product. The second thing is that it is very light and slippery, making it easy to knock over. I fixed the problem by sticking it down with Bluetak but not a very attractive solution. Bearing in mind the people it is designed for, I think the manufacturer could have added a non-slip surface to the base of it.”

“I was anxious that my Mum would be a bit cross that I thought this clock would be useful for her. However she was delighted. I was also pleased that it arrived so quickly and was so easy to set up...just plug it in. I am not so happy with the price though, why should these clocks be so much more expensive than ordinary digital or analogue clocks?”
