Great remote for SKY+ Box. However it took ages to programme the STB to communicate with the flipper because the MANUAL INFO didn't say press the ADD button after the codes were input. So I tried it after many days of failure, then it worked. Cheers..

Very good product so good that after buying one for my 88 year old, who is registered blind & has hearing problems with bit of dementia, I ordered one for my 94year old aunt as gives time & date very clearly & easily, it so useful & easy to use, has given them both confidence as they no longer have to ask others for this information, which can seem so demoralising for them. Great product 10 out of 10👍

Any radio user or enthusiast will appreciate the years that have gone into weighting the dial as it rotates or the whole thing not falling off the shelf for a similar reason. If the tiny feet are slippery a whole world of sound may be lost. And since the days of telling the time by the light and the connections between the seeds and the stars so many of us face dementia, and the losses of having a radio which cruelly separates its owner from the unrivalled riches therefrom. I have many radios that appealed for some reason but which , unless you devote room for them, cannot be turned on or off in the dark even if the reason is they are on a shelf centimetres too high up. This radio, the One button radio amused me because as I learnt its foibles and features I reasoned a singular fact that might escape others. For the reason above about bed time listening, were I to put an on off torpedo switch inline to the set at elbow height, I would have the same thing. So this is a fad. Ergonomics are a wonderful thing to apply to your world. I try and do this with everything. White edged bins and trays, tables and chairs. (Dusk you see?) Remote controls that are labelled, duplicated, updated, all these things can hep or hinder a household, car or office. You should see my shed. So much has to be DIY, as so little faces the rigours of an ergonomist. Every year I buy the radio listeners guide and see good and bad examples of usability. So to buy the one button radio was an insider, knee jerk reaction to being made to grow old too early thanks to poor design. Which this radio is not. I have an inverter in my beach hut so I am not limited to the radios I can drive at my "desk" there. I have severaal smaller, lighter radios and even DAB radios, and enjoy 70's HiFi thanks to charity shops and car boot sales never mind more serious money in all the usual places. Against this backdrop we have the one touch radio. I bought it as a thanks for the effort in its conception. In its construction it is a shame it has to exist in such a big pile of also rans. But firmly I have to say, it has got a fabulous start, it has a novelty value and it might be a difference for many in the struggle and the joy of living. I do have something I can say, more, on this subject, and it is this. I once wrote a report over 72 hours of 35,000 words with illustrations which was95 pages long. It was exclusively but not exhaustively on the ward wide ergonomics in a psychiatric hospital in Southampton, then as I got moved on, Winchester which some think is one of the best wards in the country. Not ergonomically. You would not believe the CD radio there were you to compare to the one button radio open or closed to wandering and frustrated fingers. I would rate 1 for the extant radio and 5 in the context of a psychiatric ward. The idea the volume can be more or less set would have saved possible lethal exchanges between the faux-satanist who played stupid occult recordings at full volume, and the staff let him. Just that one feature...occluded, would have saved my having to intervene even though I won as I was told I had over the disruptive audio. But I found out there is a sinister dark secret behind the ergonomics of a psychiatric ward for which the one button radio would have to excuse itself for. And I do not mean the howling deliberately dissociating drivel from Edward Alexander Crowley! Here is the url: msbnewsextra.wordpress.com I make my apology for the length of it but it was only by being thorough the ward and the things I missed could be explained in their entirety. I have started to buy for my old age...watches with a day date, clocks with radio control and once set up tell you everything and as many ideas as I can entertain. OK this clock does not have it all, but were you to think as a doctor might, it is all about evolving and suffering not the random events which actually are determined by our surroundings for better or worse and we do not know it. Until something better comes along, buy this radio. It may seem like less choice but for my dad with dementia this is as good as it gets. I think.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from AlzProducts. I wanted to use a reputable company even though there is a lot of choice of similar products at online sites such as Amazon.
