I received sound advice from Allcotts on the type of survey which was most suitable for the property I was buying and was very satisfied with the thorough report that was produced. “Good service all round. Rapid call back in response to an email enquiry, visit fixed for around 10 days later, the surveyor was punctual, very professional and had plenty of experience to draw on. Report came through a few days later. Price was also reasonable to I would recommend.”

“I requested a SPECIFIC DAMP survey. I expected at least a skirting board removed and a floorboard lifted (or telecamera used to look be low them) as these appeared to me to be most obvious sources of the damp. Neither were done and the survey told me absolutely nothing that I had not already surmised from my own visual inspection. Very disappointed”

“They communicate very well and are quite organised and helpful but I expected a more detailed report for "Building and structural Survey". I do not know how it works with other companies, but they provided very minimal comments in the report and mostly highlighted obvious points and not checked a number of important things at all. A basic survey or a home buyer survey would provide most of the details. With a full survey I expected more details, comments, info, etc.”

“Allcott associates managed to accommodate our structural survey at fairly short notice and their manager went out of her way to turn around the survey and report quickly for us. The report was well written and concise providing the exact details and opinion that had been requested by a very experienced engineer. They provided photographs to aid clarification of the structural issues that were being surveyed for our lender. We were very happy with the prompt, competent and cost effective service we received and would recommend them highly.”
