“In response to your reply. If only your members of staff who communicate with the public / customers realise they are the first port of call, if your surveyors do not receive the right information requested by a customer how can he the surveyor be expected to be able to fulfil any requests. Yes I do understand it will all be a visual inspection plumbing, Electrical installation, appropriate qualified persons would be advised to visit. With reference to Theo surveyor was so professional and helpful with his knowledge and understanding with our concerns, and spent a long time with me to clear any technical understandings / issues.”

“I can highly recommend Allcott Associates. I commissioned a Level 3 survey from them and received the report very promptly, as promised. It is without doubt the best survey I've had: no superfluous waffle, despite how comprehensive it was; very clear and understandable and with the bonus of including cost estimates for the recommended remedial work, which most companies don't do. It was very helpful for me that the surveyor rang me to give me an overview of the findings, as I'd requested, as I was keen to finalise my house purchase. Definitely a company to be trusted. Buying a house is such a big investment that having this in-depth survey is a must, I think.”

“The survey was arranged promptly and I met the surveyor on site. He readily discussed his findings with me as he examined the house and explained his reasons for the likely conclusions to be written in his report. All my questions were satisfactorily answered. The report was exhaustive and profusely illustrated, including drone shots of the roof, guttering etc. After reading the report, I had some follow-up questions and these were fully addressed. Overall, a good and thorough job.”

“Communications were all clear, concise and prompt. The survey was carried out by Mr Paul Barrett just a week after my initial enquiry, and he telephoned me while on the premises to give me a brief summary of his findings and answer a few specific queries I had. I received the full report, which was lengthy and detailed but easy to understand, only three working days after the inspection. I am very happy with the results of the survey, especially as I was told that some expensive insulation works that I had expected to pay for were unnecessary, thus saving me about £10,000. Mr Barrett was friendly, helpful and very good at explaining everything I needed to know. The report not only gave detailed information about the condition of the property, but also full recommendations of what needed doing, with estimated costs, as well as how to maintain the property going forward. It also gave detailed information for the conveyancer. The whole experience has left me a lot more relaxed and confident in going ahead with the purchase, and I cannot recommend Mr Barrett and Allcott Associates highly enough.”

“I booked a rics l3 survey with allcott, and Simon was engaged to complete that for us. The survey document came back in around 6 days, and it was incredibly detailed and very clearly outlined the condition of the property and what we needed to be aware of. I've seen other l3 surveys, but this one really did exceed our expectations! After reading it I felt confident that Simon really knew what he was talking about! It conveyed an immense amount of knowledge and skill and expertise. Not only that, it was written in plain english, so I could understand the points raised and information about drainage, water, services, etc etc were also included. This knowledge is so valuable as a buyer and has given us a lot more confidence in the purchase as well as any likely costs. Simon also made time to have a call with me, afterwards, once id absorbed the information and spared a lot of his time to explain some of the areas of the survey to me. I will definitely be recommending Allcott, and Simon as strongly as I can to anyone else who needs a survey. It really exceeded my expectations. Thanks!!”

“I had a level 3 survey done by Simon, and it was a great help in reassuring me that the house I was buying was a safe purchase. The survey came back less than a week after it was done, and highlighted quite a few things I wouldn't have noticed. Nothing bad, but things to take care of over time. It was written in an easy-to-understand manner, with enough relevant technical words to be useful. The photos were very clear and detailed, and the questions I asked afterwards were all answered quickly and in detail. I'll probably never need another survey done, but if I do, I'd use them again for sure.”

“We have been very pleased with Allcott Associates. We appointed them to carry out a survey and provide structural calculations for a new steel. From the initial enquiry through to aftercare we have found the whole team to be responsive, professional and approachable. We are currently working with our builder to finalise the details and David still makes time to offer us advice, several months after the original survey. This is very reassuring when dealing with aspects of construction with which you are not particularly familiar. I feel they want the job to get done right. Would recommend.”

“We found the survey produced by Allcott Asscoiates was very thorough and helpful for the period property we were hoping to buy. We were able to email with our surveyor to ask additional questions which gave us a number of items to investigate further. It led us to have a further inspection for Asbestos which did test positive in an area, although not where we had originally suspected. We were happy with the content, quality and cost of the survey and would definitely use Allcott Associates in the future.”

“Fantastic Level 3 Survey. The level of detail they included was second to none and I really appreciated the estimated costs for relevant work needed as I know not all surveyors will included this. The accompanying pictures were also generous so I could easily follow what was written. When it's time for me to by another property, I'll be sure to use their services again.”
