“The engineer was unaware that I was a client, though once this was clarified at the end he did give some immediate feedback. The report was carried out to a high professional standard. A minor niggle was repeating for most rooms that the central heating wasn't operating that day - the Gas Safe engineer in at the same time for some reason switched the heating off and I could easily have switched it back on again! But overall fine. One paragraph at the end of the report - saying it could not be forwarded to a third party - caused me problems as it was written for a third party (the buyer) and his mortgage provider would not accept the report till AA wrote a cover letter.”

“All the staff at Allcott Associates were very friendly and professional from the start. The communication was excellent throughout. The survey was carried out without undue fuss and the surveyor was very knowledgeable and professional, identifying the problem very quickly. The report arrived quickly and contained good details and workable recommendations. Well recommended.”

“It's our first time to enter into a transaction like this. Allcott Associates is listed in the RICS website where we found them after putting in filters as to what we needed to be checked mainly. The report is done in a very professional manner - both the presentation and the body. A lot of aspects were covered, which we as first-time buyers would probably just ignore or not pay any attention to. The report will serve as a guide to us in subsequent similar transactions or if we are moving to another property. It is like a reference book for beginners. The survey was done on a Monday and we got the report electronically Tuesday the following week. We received the bound report in the post the next day. The pictures are clear. The statements are repeated for emphasis specially towards the end of the report. The valuation is helpful.”

“I found out about Allcott Associates via and online search for surveyors. I was impressed with the detail on their website, including the online quote which was very accurate, to the easy process of booking with them. The staff were very helpful with any questions I had and the survey was completed as planned with the detailed report (accompanied with pictures), sent to me promptly via PDF and post. Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend their services to anyone.”
