Terrible customer service item from my order still hasn’t arrived despite multiple calls and emails and being assured it would arrive for Christmas

Ordered on 18 December with express DPD - there was a known risk it would not arrive before Xmas - no communication re actual delivery time - chat box said await news tomorrow no news, sent email got auto reply - there were staff shortages, rang on 23 December after 25minutes in queue - told very shortly Nothing could be done - but the tone was really can't be bothered to help sort this out - package finally arrived on 27th - low rating because I would expect greater effort from a small family company - I was happy to drive two hour to collect but told not a service we offer - there was no interest in finding a solution for a Xmas problem and the tone / lack of interest was the killer -

i chose the evoucher option as it was close to christmas and too much of a risk postage wise, but i received no email with the voucher. Later i saw that the email said 'Thank you for your recent order with A Farley Country Attire! We’re delighted to have you as a customer and are currently preparing your items for dispatch.' the email with the voucher has still not been delivered and i have recieved no email 6 days later. My brother had the exact same ordering this voucher for my mum. I would like this resolving.

Very poor service, lack of communication and promises unfulfilled. Ordered a jacket 30.11.25,(2-5 day delivery). Shipped 19.12.25. Not contacted by the company, promised to be contacted back by a staff member by telephone, never happened. Promised £20 as a good will gesture. Never received. I had to keep chasing my order via email as customer service only opened 10-4 which is difficult when you work. I hope other customers get a better service.

Cant give a review as my goods not delivered even though royal mail have sent me a photo of somewhere i dont recognise and tell me they have delivered it!!! Not farleys fault something i gave to pursue with royal mail.

Disappointing service. My order was seriously delayed and the items were sent separately without any clear explanation. I had to contact A Farley Country Attire by phone three times, waiting on average around 30 minutes each time, and despite being promised return calls, none ever came. Overall, this is not the level of service I would expect, especially given the reputation.

I am posting this update because Farley asked me for another review, yet my original issue remains completely unresolved. After my previous detailed review, Farley publicly replied saying they had “reached out to resolve this.” This is misleading. They did not meaningfully resolve anything. The only response I received was an offer of a refund on the condition that I remove my negative review. No refund has been issued, no replacement sent, and no proper support provided. To recap briefly: • An item was sold that was not actually in stock • I was repeatedly given false shipping promises • I spent hours across multiple phone calls in long queues • The order was shipped late despite time-sensitive assurances • The parcel was misdelivered, marked as handed to a non-existent person, and is now missing • Email support is effectively non-existent • I am still out of pocket, with no item and no refund What is most concerning now is the review process itself. Farley appears more focused on getting negative reviews removed than on fixing the underlying problems. When companies condition refunds or assistance on deleting honest reviews, it makes their overall review score unreliable and misleading to future customers. This was meant to be a Christmas gift. Instead, weeks later, I have nothing but wasted time, stress, and money, and I am still being prompted to “leave a review” rather than being helped. I stand by my original warning: if something goes wrong, you are on your own. And based on my experience, the positive reviews you see should be read with caution.

I’ve been ordering from this company for many years, never had any problems until this year. My Son asked for one thing for Xmas, a pair of RM Williams boots. Ordered in plenty of time…received a phone call saying colour out of stock even though the website was saying available. Changed colour no big deal, was told order was on the way! I rang a few days before Xmas as I was getting nervous…I was once again told they were on the way! No sign, I rang AGAIN only this time I was told they were not in stock and never had been even though the website was still taking orders for them! Completely ruined Sons Christmas and I didn’t have time to get him another present as I put my faith in the very polite operative on the phone line! Not happy!

Awful service. Wrong item sent. Was the only thing my son asked for for Christmas. Sent another one and premised it would be here for Christmas Day. Lied. Told me to keep the belt I was sent that doesn’t even fit him. Honestly worse service ever.

Still waiting for my jacket despite ordering on 15 Dec. It’s now 23 Dec & apparently it was shipped today “guaranteed for tomorrow.” The UPS tracking number says something different, that I’ll be notified when they have a delivery date. Total shambles, and false promises of deliveries since it was ordered. So a Christmas present not being given on Christmas Day as promised. They clearly have no system & cannot cope. Helpline is a long queue, and a promised callback hasn’t materialised. Go elsewhere if you want customer service.

I ordered from Farley on 7 December (Order #211586). What followed was an exhausting sequence of delays, misinformation, and complete customer service failure. Shortly after ordering, I was told the belt I purchased was not actually in stock in the size ordered. Resolving this required a phone call on 9 December, where I waited 21 minutes in the queue just to confirm next steps. By 15 December, the order still showed no shipment, so I called again and waited in another long queue. I was explicitly told the order was being shipped that day and would arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday. This was false. On 18 December, with the order still not shipped, I waited 28 minutes in the phone queue to speak to someone. I was told the order had not been sent yet. I explained that I was leaving the country on 19 December, and that unless it was shipped immediately, I would not be able to receive it. I was assured it would be sent that same day (18th) via DPD and would arrive on 19 December. In reality, DPD confirmed they only received the parcel on 19 December, meaning it was not shipped when promised yet again. The package arrived at my address on 20 December and was marked as “delivered to Carol on the ground floor.” There is no person named Carol on the ground floor. The delivery photo shows the parcel outside my house, not with a neighbour. I checked with immediate neighbours and in a building group chat of 40 residents — no one has the package. It is clearly lost or stolen. To make matters worse, Farley’s customer service email inbox is not actively monitored, and they do not respond to emails. I am currently abroad, and I am not going to spend more money calling and sitting in another 30+ minute phone queue for an issue that should never have happened. This was meant to be a Christmas gift, which was ruined entirely. What I received instead was: • An item sold without stock • Repeated false shipping promises • Excessive phone wait times • No functional email support • A parcel sent late, misdelivered, and now missing If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, do not order from Farley, especially if your purchase is time-sensitive. When things go wrong — and they clearly do — you are left completely on your own.

Purchased an item on Black Friday 28 November, with 7 working day delivery, fully appreciating that it is a peak period and so allowed more time. However after an email chase and two phone calls later (first call with a promise of an update that did not happen), my order arrived on 20 December. Lack of communication and poor customer service with a phone queue for 15 minutes plus each time is not acceptable.

Purchase never arrived. Travelled and travelled for 2 days to try and find the delivery including sorting office. Gave up and bought locally and have asked for a refund. Could not speak to anyone as staff shortage and emails back saying emails were not being monitored. Disappointing at Christmas time.

Really late with delivery - stated as 2-5 days , took twice that . Missed the intended birthday , so not good at all. When I queried the non delivery by email I received no direct response just an automated delivery notification when shipment did finally occur .
