“This was my first purchase of a 3d printer so naturally I had a million questions. A young lady called Beth was really accommodating, honest and transparent throughout, they didn't pressure to upscale the order but offered solutions throughout. Then I went to collect my order on Xmas eve and was greeted by two staff. They asked my son who the printer was for lots of questions about his plans and even showed him prints which they had completed and offered him a tour to show him what he could achieve. He loved it and it's only inspired him more. So thank you for the patience, excellent communication and service.”

“Had never heard of Additive-X until recently, but now I don't think I'll ever use anyone else! Was looking to purchase a Bambu P1S as a Christmas treat, admittedly very late in December, so wasn't expecting to receive it before the big day (as much as I was hoping). Found the printer from a UK competitor who I'd spoken to at the recent SMRRF event in Manchester, but whilst the next day delivery (if ordered before 12pm) price wasn't terrible, the printer combo was out of stock anyway and I was sad to say the least. Bit of shopping around though and I found Additive-X, with the same printer both in stock and with next day delivery (if ordered before 4:45pm!!) for half the delivery price. Took what I thought was a risk and ordered the printer, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a DPD advance shipping notice via email in no time at all, followed by confirmation that they had the parcel, and it was on its way. Printer was delivered by 11am the day after, setup by lunch time, and printing an hour after that - no issues whatsoever! Colour me impressed, Additive-X! Cheaper than the competitor for more flexible delivery, and you 100% nailed it. I will absolutely be ordering from you again (when I inevitably decide that 1 AMS unit just isn't enough!!)”

“Fantastic service and communication. Ordered AMS unit on 20th Dec late at night. I arrived on the Tuesday. I was not expecting until after Christmas. Item was also really well packaged. Have spoken to customers services in the past and they're great. Highly recommend this company.”

“Easy to deal with when ordering. My only complaint is that I paid for next day delivery and their carrier didn't even both to attempt next day delivery. I will be interested to see what their after sales communication is like.”

“For what I wanted I narrowed it down to 3 suppliers, ( to purchase Bambu A1 Combo + Filaments. )all the same price at each. I chose Additive X. I picked what I wanted that was showing in stock, yet at checkout it says some of the items weren't available. They nearly lost me as a customer at that point. Thought I would go on Live Chat as to why that was. strangely was explained that the items where available and I proceeded with order. Ordered 4pm, arrived 1pm the next day.... all was good. I am happy with communication, items, service and delivery time. Will be ordering again for more filament shortly.”

“Tried them after seeing the good reviews on here, had a great experience. Prices were reasonable, packaging was excellent and they picked a decent courier (many places instead choose the cheapest service they can find which is usually poor). Will be using them again in future”

“I really like Additive for Bambu related parts or filaments (for 3D printing). The shipping is always super fast, when ordered with next day delivery, the stuff tends to get send out same night ready for next day. ONLY downside is cost. Additive is more expensive than Bambu direct, sometimes a few pence, sometimes a bit more. For example, the following order is £184.15 from Additive Complete Hotend 0.4mm hardened Extruder Unit PETG-CF PLA-CF PVA Support Whereas from Bambu directly, the same order is £170.35 I tend to decide where to order based on shipping. Bambu used to ship daily with next day delivery, but now they went massively downhill. I tend to wait easily a week for the stuff whereas Additive offers next day. The above order would cost an additional £7.80 for next day delivery from Additive, but Bambu doesn't offer here next day, even if I'd be happy to pay for it. Basically apart from price I just cannot fault Additive-X at all. But I do decide based on urgency whether to order there or Bambu. For example right now I am waiting for an Additive order as well as Bambu order. Additive stuff I need today, Bambu stuff is nice to have :)”

Thank you for your feedback, Bambu are currently running some Black Friday deals on filament which we just can't match I am afraid. We also do offer free delivery on orders over £100, the difference is its not 100% guaranteed next day. However we will look into the pricing after the offers end and make sure they match. Thank you for saying you can't fault us as well!
