“Got a couples voucher for xmas, cover price of £99.00. Really disappointed as the experiences available for this are limited and the suppliers clearly treat activity superstore voucher customers as second class citizens in the offerings the allow vouchers to be used on. For example, hotel options are monday-thursday only and their cheapest rooms, that have a lower price than the value of the voucher for the hotels we called. Theatre options again only weekdays and also the cheapest seats that have a cover price significantly less than the cost of the voucher. Other experiences again show a huge difference between the value of the experiences offered and the cost of the voucher. For example - indoor skydiving that has an actual direct price with the supplier of £79.00, or even more disgraceful the option for a vineyard tour in East Sussex and lunch - which the supplier on their website offer directly for £6.50 per person (so a total of £13.00 per couple) - which means that if selecting this option Activity Superstore presumably pocket the £87.00 difference.... This is a really terrible voucher offering and you are not getting any value at all from the activities offered for the voucher, instead just supporting Activity Superstore to make a massive margin on products that suppliers sell to people far more cheaply. I appreciate that A/S will likely argue that they add the value of convenience and choice - but really all other voucher offerings (Theatre Vouchers, Book Tokens etc) actually provide the full face value when you use them.... I will certainly never buy one of these products for others, and am left with the unpleasant feeling of being really ripped off with whichever option I choose with this present. What looked like a lovely gift idea in a nice looking box is actually a poor offer that has disappointed the person that bought it for us as a gift (when they have seen what we can actually get for it) and also us as initially excited recipients. Would value a response from Activity Superstore on this and have tried to contact them via Facebook also...”

“Extended voucher as time constraints stopped us using it, at a cost of £20. The event was a driving experience and due to track times it is not open winter months. Voucher expired Dec 1st we then paid to extend thinking it was for the full season, Wrong we decided to get it booked, unable to locate Voucher so decided to ring customer services to explain The answer we got back was " does not matter if you had the voucher or not it has expired .we only extend the voucher for 6 months and that ran out 7 days ago !!!, Requested as a goodwill gesture to honour voucher today and it will be booked , Customer services adamant nothing could be done, Taken into account that track day would be closed until at least February , What it does not inform you is that this event is only bookable on week days ! try getting your money back after you find that one out. £100 Voucher as cost me £120 Customer services a complete waste of time. If you want to give some one a gift put the £100 in an envelope and give it to them DO NOT PUT THAT £100 INTO THIS COMPANIES BANK ACCOUNT AS WHAT IAM LED TO UNDERSTAND YOU CAN BOOK IT DIRECT AND PAY ON ARRIVAL, HOW MANY OF THIS COMPANIES VOUCHER GO UNUSED ?”

“They have no idea how to communicate. Although it does say on 'contact us' that they will do their best to get back to you in 24 hours. however, since my first email to them was a month ago and I still haven't had a reply (even having contacted them another three times), I am not holding my breath. Doesn't really gain me any faith in how they operate.”
