One of the worst companies if ever dealt with. Many of the experiences that are advertised on the vouchers don't exist any more or are closed. I exchanged the voucher several times for a different experience and faced the same unavailability problem, and even paid extra to try and get one that was suitable - that didn't exist either. I eventually demanded a refund but they refused. The only way to contact them is via email and you wait 2 days for an answer to each question (if you're lucky). You can call them if you upgrade though as they'll happily take your money! Eventually, after weeks of emails they offered me a partial refund which I had to chase several times! All I got from this company was months of stress and frustration. Never again!

Awful. I purchased an experience for a birthday, activated the voucher and gave the date for booking and have not heard anything and its not confirmed. Its a lot of money not to receive confirmation or any communication since the first one where you took my money. I have followed up to see if this has been booked (its something I am treating someone too and now I don't know if ive lost money or what). Please confirm or refund. Even just an acknowledgement would be appreciated

My order did not go through properly and my friend never received the email. I immediately emailed customer service and no one responded, still haven’t heard from them, but they sure took my money. Never using this website again.

I left my present buying way too late, totally my fault, spent a long time finding somewhere that offered same day dispatch and special delivery, you had to order by 2pm to get same day dispatch, or you could get the gift (a subscription) sent via email. I would have had the email except I was just within the timeframe and having a physical item is nicer, so I paid for the package and the additional £7.99 delivery. The order went through a couple of minutes before 2pm. I kept checking for a dispatch notification, only to get a ‘thanked for your order’ notification at nearly 4pm, I tried to contact them as at this point it’s clear they aren’t going to ship, I asked if I could instead receive the email subscription as the birthday was the following day (Sat) only to get an ‘out of hours’ response. So no gift, either physical or by email, I wasn’t contacted and there was nowhere to add in the date I needed to receive it by. So it was an incredibly embarrassing day to not have a birthday gift. And if I wasn’t going to receive it in time, I could have ordered from anywhere. Don’t offer a service you can’t fulfil.

They took money but we were unable to redeem the voucher because it required calling them and the number given did not work. Customer service were slow to respond and refused to refund. When pressed they started making claims they had no record of an attempted call and couldn't claim back from the supplier. Their tone was rude and dismissive, showing absolutely no respect for customers or acknowledging their own poor system of requiring phone calls and clearly a faulty number. This company does not deserve your business. They have scammed me out of £70 and refuse to rectify the situation appropriately.

It is not value for money, it's a giant rip off. I had a voucher for my birthday - on Activity Superstore website they describe it as a 2 or 3 course meal including a drink (wine, beer or soft drink), courses depending on location & for 2 people - £49. The location - Karma Sanctum Soho London at their WH restaurant. Well, they were charging £18pp for what they call an "Express Lunch" which was FAR from the meal described on Activity Superstore & £13 cheaper if you went direct instead of through Activity Superstore! It's gets more ridiculous. Our "lunch" was actually 3 Japanese octopus balls snack size & our main was one small skewer of fried chicken - yep 1 skewer!!! No drink included. TOTAL RIP OFF FOR £49 - don't trust Activity Superstore, they're selling snacks as a meal.

Shocking do not use. Take forever for customer services to get back to you and you are unable to view any information about venues unless you activate the pass. You then have to go into each one individually to find out the t&cs. I have spent nearly 2 weeks trying to book this and I am now requesting a refund.

This company are absolutely useless. They took my payment method's billing address and automatically applied it as the recipient address without giving me a chance to confirm the details before taking the payment. I sent the correct details by email but by the time they got back to me (days later) the voucher had already been delivered to me. They did eventually get another sent out to my recipient but this was now late for their birthday and my gift message wasn't included so they didn't know it was from me. I won't use Activity Superstore again.

Absolutely appalling service. Paid £7.99 for next day delivery on their website on April 3rd. It’s now April 6th and it still hasn’t arrived. No tracking number on order confirmation and no phone number to contact them. Indifferent customer service on email. Have requested a refund as I can no longer use the voucher due to its lateness and have had no response. I should have read the shockingly bad reviews before I bought this ‘activity’

It difficult to find out the terms of the voucher. Details are not confirmed until purchase is complete. I contacted customer service to find out but did not receive clear information and was first told to complete the purchase first, after following up again I did receive some information confirming that the hotel could only be booked Sunday to Thursday, this information is not provided on the website or if it is, it it's not easily available. The voucher also stated that the hotel was for 1 or 2 nights stay, for all 5 hotels that I checked all were for 1 night. It's very difficult to know what is on offer and included with the voucher.

NEVER ANY AVAILABILITY Tried to book one of their driving experiences multiple times. Despite repeatedly trying to book the experience there was never any availability in a location within a reasonable distance to where I live despite extending my search area substantially. The voucher validity was extended after a payment but still I could not book the experience. I was advised by customer support to look in the North of the county which is hundreds of miles away from where we live. The company now refuse to extend the voucher again referring to their terms and conditions. Will not use them again and will not refer them to anyone.

Don’t waste your money The wife received a voucher from our son for Mother’s Day. Followed the instructions to register with the activation number and obtain the unique voucher number. This all went fine. Chose a venue for a lunch but then found out it was only available to use in the evening, as it would be a 100 mile round trip decided we did not want to do this. Contacted Activity Superstore who advised me what to do to choose alternative. Chose alternative venue for an afternoon tea and all seemed well until I received an email from Activity Superstore who advised me that my chosen venue would be closing for business before my chosen date and that I should choose an alternative. Chose an alternative venue for afternoon tea and was advised that I needed to book direct. Rang the venue to be advised that they did not recognise the voucher code and that I should contact Activity Superstore. Contacted Activity Superstore who said they would sort it out. Did not hear anything for a couple of weeks so rang the venue again who confirmed that no one had been in contact with them. I again contacted Activity Superstore who asked me to let them have suitable dates and they would sort it out for me. After almost 2 months no further response from Activity Superstore despite several chasing emails to which one only receives an auto response advising that they respond within 2 days. Unfortunately you cannot ring them and purely reliant on whether they decide to respond to an email. If you get an email response from either a Katie, Jaz, May or Millie don’t believe anything they tell you as it will be pure fiction. Happy to take the money but not provide the gift.

I bought this steam train and overnight hotel for two as a gift. Firstly they wanted to just send me an email instead of a gift pack. I requested a gift pack. We wished to extend the experience. Firstly I had to activate the voucher and that appeared to have been successful. I then emailed you to ask how I could extend the date. I received a reply and was told how to do so on the website. Firstly I was prompted to input my voucher code ( I was told it had already been activated) I ended up talking to an " agent " who told me my voucher hadn't been activated ( I resent being accused of being a liar) the agent then activated my voucher ( again) but didn't tell me to check my email for code. I finally got onto the extend section and the trip was in two parts, Hotel overnight stay and separate train trip. I ended up inputting my debit card TWICE! given the trip is one trip in two parts why was it separated into TWO? have I paid Twice to extend? That is outrageous as I have paid for one trip. You made a simple task difficult, confusing and I am NOT HAPPY with the whole process. I want to know if you have charged each part of the experience Twice? There was no information at time of booking that I would be charged x2 £20 as its your company who sell this experience. I was so upset that this was so stressful. I got so angry I almost threw this in the bin. You made a simple service so horrendous and unprofessional. I won't purchase anything else from you. Rachel Sapsford-Gee
