Worst experience ever, once we redeemed our voucher we were passed to OMG hotels to organise booking, by far one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, took them a year to organise a booking due to no availability, had to pay extra, then cancelled our booking the night before, was a present for my wife, still owe us money

Order Ref. 1496557: you have banked my money. You promised delivery on 3.1.25 (my dughter's birthday). This did not take place. Despite me asking 4 times for information, you have never replied. I am contacting you via this review because you won't reply. My daughter still has not got her birthday present and you have my money. Dont shop with Activity Superstore, They rip people off! They keep your money and don't give you what you have paid for and ignore your emails. This is what they have done on us and other people too i have now found out on the Internet.

Having issues with the booking. Have activation number but the voucher number appeared quickly then disappeared. Have emailed but got no reply, even though it promises response in 15 minutes.

Dont shop with Activity Superstore, They rip people off! They keep your money and don't give you anything in return and ignore your emails. This is what they have done on us and lots of other people too i have now found out. They are scammers.

Buying a gift from this company turned out not to be a good experience. There are 4 options to obtain the voucher for the gift. Email to the buyer, email to the recipient, posted to the buyer or posted to the recipient. Neither postage option are available when you actually come to buy. The 'buy now' button actally prevents you from selecting any option so I ended up with an email, which I didn't want. OK, I can still use it as a gift, but cardinal sin from the company; no reply from the emails I sent asking them to contact me. Let's hope the booking process goes well.

I booked a two night get away hoping to go away in 18 days time, after activating my voucher I then picked a hotel from the list provided from a site called use my gift. I then received an email to contact a company to book in my dates for the hotel after contacting the company that activity superstore told me to contact they said they can’t help me because they no longer have a contract with activity superstore, I’m now trying to contact customer support but no response as of yet. Hopefully they sort it out but I’m not sure I would use them again as I needed to book the hotel 2 weeks In advance and now there won’t be enough time

We understand the first Hotel that you contacted is refusing our vouchers, this was flagged by the customer service representative who responded to your email on 11th December and is currently being looked into. For most hotel stays, we recommend booking with an approximate two-week lead time to minimise the risk of disappointment. I am sorry to read that you have not received your E-vchr, as this was originally sent on 1st December. I have just resent it so please do check your junk /spam folders as well as your inbox, just in case. If it doesn't arrive we can either send it to a different email for you, or pop it in the post.

Claiming the gift can be a deliberately difficult and slow process. For me and my family we had to email the company with the gift-givers *credit card statement* to 'prove' their purchase; and the replies were so slow that the activity type we had committed to claim (just a *burger meal!) was unavailable by the time we had the required details. A request to extend the claim period by just a week was refused, and we were told that we would have to pay extra, just to make up for the delay in their admin! It's likely that their business model relies on making a profit from all the people that don't claim because of the inconvenient/unimpressive options and the hassle invoved in claiming. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Just take your friend out for a meal instead.

Thank you for your feedback Thomas. Please don't worry, we do not intentionally make anything difficult for our customers. I can see that your voucher was purchased from Primark. All of our Primark boxes state that they are not valid without a till receipt, unfortunately, you did not have this so we allowed you to still activate the voucher by displaying a bank statement showing the transaction. Unfortunately your voucher was due to expire on 1st December 2024, as printed on the voucher itself. Our terms and conditions state that you are welcome to adhere an extension to your voucher at cost of £20 for a further six-months validity. I specifically selected physical gift box the website has issues on my browser refreshed several times and checked out with digital version. I reached out and did not recieve a responce so have opened paypal dispute.

Experience options reduced to 1 on the other side of the country. Originally included a weekend option, now only available with a surplus. Asked customer support to assist in finding equivalent replacement as per T&C's but just awful. Every email responded to by a different person, no continuity, no desire to actually support. Basically a waste of money. Please use BuyaGift or alternative.

Worst company ever. My poor relative (no I haven't told them as I don't want to upset them) has bought our family a number of these gift experiences and all end up in the bin. £100s wasted!!! Every single time I attempt to validate I end up with an F code error!! Which then follows having to communicate by email and never ends up being resolved before the voucher expires - if ever!! Do not buy! Next time I get one it will be returned straight to the retailer. Which so far only Debenhams was good enough to refund as they'd had a lot of customers complaining of similar issues.

Very disappointed with customer service re my request for a mistake made on the card. The gift message started with Dear Dearest Anette" instead of "Dearest Anette and the rest of the short message was not inclyded! I requested for a new card to be sent with the correct wording and message to be included but I did not get any response and the birthday is soon! Alk I keep receiving are more promotions and reminders but not an apology for the mistake made and get it rectified!I It is also frustrating that there is no telephone contact number for customer service for assistance.

We booked a weekend away via these crooks, but couldn't go. The day before we were due to travel, my wife had a serous injury while training in the gym, which meant we couldn't make it. The medial advice we received, was clear, my wife needs to rest and cant travel. We informed these crooks with 20 minutes of speaking to the Doctor. We have written prove of my wife's injury from our Doctor. These crooks are unwilling to rearrange or refund, they prefer to rob our £170. Currently taking them to court. They are blaming the hotel, my contract is with these crooks not the hotel. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Customer services refused to help with an expired voucher. Only a few months out of date, but absolutely no flexibility from this company. They give a short 18 months validity, when UK Government recommends minimum 2 years and other countries such as Ireland require 5 years. I hope anyone reading these reviews will note that all positive reviews are related to the voucher purchases (they are very happy to take your money), but all negative reviews are related to using the vouchers. Don't waste your money or place the recipient of your gift in a difficult position. The chances are that your money will just build the profits of this company and not be used by your friend or relative.

I purchased a voucher for my son to experience one of the adrenaline activities. When booking there was hardly anything available - only paintballing. On arrival the children changed into the outfits ready to play. I gave in the form and was utterly shocked to discover that to play you had to purchase the paintballs at a cost if £181 - wow really how is that an inclusive activity. I was so embarrassed because I didn't have that sort of money, the children were ready to play and their parents had left. I contacted head office by phone and was greeted by a rude and unhelpful advisor, he put the phone down on me when I asked to speak to a manager. By this time the children had missed the first game. I then pleaded with the manager at the centre to reduce the cost. He eventually took it down to £81, still a rip off but I had no choice to pay. Please be warned you will pay extras and the experience is not inclusive. I had previously enquired about other costs via email and was sent a cut and paste response with no details of the actual costs I would incur. You wouldn't go bungee jumping and get to the edge only to be told it would cost an extra £100 for the rope! Obviously I contacted the company about the extortionate hidden costs and was greeted with yet again cut and paste response I am still in shock that I paid for the experience but had to cough up additional monies for the children to access it. Absolute con - my advice go directly to the activity and pay there, this would save you lots of money Date of experience: 08 June 2024

When you choose Paintballing for Eight from your Adrenaline Choice Pack, it indicates, “Paintballs are not included, but you are welcome to purchase as many as you like on the day.” I apologise if this detail was missed. I understand that you contacted us before your booking with concerns about the location and questions regarding what was included. We provided you with the experience provider's direct phone number so that they could address your concerns and make any necessary changes. We are sorry to hear that you found their team rude and unhelpful, we will pass this feedback on to them, as it is certainly not the standard we expect from our experience providers. We are sorry that you feel our responses felt ‘cut and paste’, I can see that our customer service team did investigate your issue by speaking with Delta Force Paintballing regarding the costs, we came back to you with their response and copied in the overview of the experience which does state that the activity does not include paintballs. We have relayed your review to our Customer Service Manager who will be in touch shortly to provide an amicable resolution.

Do not buy night stay and dinner for 2, barely any places to use it and if you find a place it's not available during summer months or weekends. Need to book weeks in advance as so slow to get back to you. Would not recommend
