“I searched the web for window blackout and Active Window Films came up along with others. Thier price was very competitive especially with free postage. I placed the order for a small piece of blackout film over the Bank Holiday weekend selecting standard free delivery. To my surprise first thing Tuesday morning I had a Dispatched email. Wednesday morning the package arrived and Wednesday afternoon it was on the window after following the excellent online tutorial. What more could I ask for. An excellent product delivered "next day," at an excellent price. Thanks.”

“Delivery was prompt and there were nonissues with that. However, whilst the product does the job by blocking the sun off, the installation wasn't straight forward. Whilst the film was fully flattened once installed, with time, bubbles appeared and they were impossible to squeegee out at that point.”

Thank you for your feedback – we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear the delivery was prompt and that the film is doing its job blocking out the sun. Regarding the bubbles you’ve noticed after installation, please don’t worry – this is actually quite normal. During the curing process, which typically takes around 7 to 10 days (depending on the weather and how much sunlight the window gets), any remaining bubbles or haziness usually disappear on their own as the moisture evaporates. We recommend leaving the film undisturbed during this time and avoiding any additional squeegeeing, as this can sometimes make things worse after the initial application. We’re really pleased the pinstripe tape arrived quickly and that, even though the colour looked a little different from the website, it still worked well for your needs. “I purchased the bubble free window film - it is really excellent quality and looks great - I have tested several and this was (imho) the best - for both quality and price (some of the ones I tried from a different companies were awful!!!). Like this one so much I have just purchased more for other windows. Also…. Extremely Helpful customer service - a pleasure to speak to and resolved my query immediately. (Ps all these products are a little taxing to apply!!! - the only thing I would change would be to add a checkered background to make it easier to cut - but the actual product's is superior so worth it )”
