“Very pleased with the effect it has given, worth doing. My only wish is that I should have used the static version I think it would have been much easier to use. I lost 1 piece of film (the 1st) due to it sticking together and looking like cracked glass when finished. I did manage to get it off and had ordered enough to replace it, but it was difficult and at 75 it took all my patience I managed though.🧓”

“Prompt delivery Kit was good. We wished we had 2 squeezes instead of one! Just very difficult to put it on ourselves as our windows are huge 185x 115cm. 3 in total we got better after each window. Lots of bubbles left that we did not notice and cutting corners was hard and some small tears appeared. Find someone to do it for you if you have big windows like us… or we might just have been incompetent… still outlook is good. Room is darker and no more reflection on screen. We did it to make the room less hot but weather has been cold since fitting so we do not know how much cooler the room will be! For privacy at night with light on- people outside can still see you but total privacy during the day. Would I buy it again? Yes but would find someone to fit it for us!”

“It arrived very quickly with clear instructions how to apply the film. It was extremely easy to apply and looks good. The only thing I found was the clear film can be a bit problematic with static when being removed. On the larger pieces it may be easier if two people do it together.”

“Window films arrived in good time from order, application followed as per the instructions. Film applied to 5 windows at the front of our home to allow a little more privacy as we are by a main footpath. The mirror effect isn’t as strong as shown on the image - you can still see into the downstairs from outside (without) any interior lights on during the day. It’s subtle but you can see through which is what we were hoping to reduce. Despite following the instructions accurately we have ‘bubbling’ at the bottom of the windows that won’t flatten out - which can be seen from the outside, doesn’t give a finished clean look. On the whole we are fairly satisfied, we were planning on applying the film to the patio doors and back door - but have since decided against it due to the bubbly finish and ability to still see through despite the mirror effect.”

“Very prompt and efficient service, arrived in a timely manner. having bought previously from this company I knew it was a good product, but this time the "backing film" wouldn't detach from the main reflective film. After several hours of trying, I decided to try the film direct to the window without detaching the backing film and it still works fine, great reflective qualities. I've looked again at the film and there doesn't seem to be any backing film to detach?”

“All as promised. Yes you do need patience and a steady hand though. Please be aware that the one way only works during the day. At night it is simply see through. Good value for money and overall, happy with the results.”

“The window film I bought is much thinner than the last film I applied 25 years ago, so I was a bit nervous, but it's gone on well and looks fantastic. There are some discrepancies between the written fitting instructions and the video, and the former could be clearer, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Well packaged, really good to have a choice of widths and be able to buy by the metre - I've applied it to an internal door and standard widths and lengths are no use for that.”

“UPDATE: I had a phonecall with Zara and she explained in more detail what had happened and I feel like we reached a good understanding. Frustrations have been dealt with and I'm now expecting my order to arrive soon. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I placed an order on June 25th and it was shipped on June 26th. On July 5th I contacted the company to find out where my order was and was told they would investigate. I've chased multiple times and kept being told by Zara that she was still 'investigating'. Today, July 12th, 16 days after the order was shipped, she told me she had 'checked the tracking' and that it is on its way to me. I don't know how the process of investigating works but why did it take 10 days to check the tracking? I understand that shipping issues happen but it's disheartening to be met with such apathy and a simple 'sorry about any inconvenience' would've helped a lot. I'm sure it's a great company and the person who recommended AWF to me had nothing but great things to say so even he is confused as to why the response has been so lacking. I hope I receive my order soon but based on this experience I cannot recommend AWF.”
