Disappointed with the length of time had to wait for personalised gift. I understand it takes time to make these but 4 wks was far too long, apparently due to issues between dispatch and packing.Was still getting emails for further purchases when struggling to complete my order . Compensation has been offered on a further purchase. Nevertheless, the product itself was loved.

On opening my present Christmas morning to see a gorgeous necklace unfortunally i dropped a gem on the floor and couldn't find it, I messaged Abbott Lyon to explain what happened and to see if they could help me after Christmas and to to my astonishment they answered straight away that is excellent service

Received nothing!!!! £130 worth of goods ordered weeks ago and we got an email two days before Christmas to say they wouldn’t be coming. [guaranteed Christmas Delivery] Was offered the same amount as what we ordered in a voucher and told on the email this would be also guaranteed before Christmas, if it wasn’t personalised. Ordered earrings and a watch on the [guaranteed Christmas delivery] after the first let down, and that hasn’t arrived either. Ruined my wife’s Christmas present, hope you’re happy. Still no correspondence to tracking on either order. Was meant to be delivered today! Surely can’t be legal what you are doing and promising to everyone, Trading standards first thing Monday!!!!

I ordered an Abbott Lyon watch for my wife as a Christmas present but sadly she had her heart set on another one. The returns process was slick and the refund processed in a timely manner with near instant responses from the customer service team. This company clearly places a priority on good customer service which will bode well for them and their reputation in the future.

1 star – Extremely disappointing experience I had an awful experience with Abbott Lyon and won’t be ordering again. I placed an order specifically because they advertised guaranteed Christmas delivery. The personalised bracelet didn’t arrive until New Year’s Eve, completely defeating the point as it was meant to be a Christmas gift. I contacted them in advance when I was notified of a delay, but nothing was done to help. When the bracelet finally arrived, it was incorrect. I ordered a custom bracelet spelling J.A.M.E.S, and the website showed a clear visual preview with the name displayed correctly at checkout. The bracelet I received was fixed as J.M.A.E.S. There was no design proof sent before production, and the charms are fixed, so it can’t be corrected. Customer service then tried to blame this on me, despite their own internal order details listing the initials inconsistently and out of sequence. The response was dismissive and took no responsibility for the error. The other necklace in the order arrived, but the quality was disappointing and not what’s advertised online, especially given the price point. It didn’t feel premium at all. Since this happened, I’ve found multiple reviews from other customers describing the same issues, missed Christmas delivery guarantees, delayed custom orders, and personalised jewellery passing quality control with obvious errors. Based on my experience, this seems to be a wider problem rather than a one-off mistake. Poor quality, missed delivery promises, and very disappointing customer service. I wouldn’t recommend Abbott Lyon, especially for personalised gifts or time-sensitive orders.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely awful! Do not use this company! I ordered on the 1/12 for my sisters Christmas presents and I’m still waiting for them to arrive! Multiple emails and still no response as to where my goods are. I feel like no one is bothered and I’ve thrown my money away!

Ordered a ring with a “latest delivery” date of 18 December. Apparently that date was more of a suggestion, as it arrived over a week late with absolutely no explanation and no apology until much later. Customer service proudly claims they respond within 24 hours. In reality, it took them 9 working days to reply to my email — truly impressive commitment to that promise. When I asked for a refund of the delivery charge due to the delay, I was told the delay “couldn’t be helped,” which I assume is company policy for not our problem. The ring itself? Fine… if your expectations are low. It’s far bulkier than it looks online, the colours make it look cheap, and the quality is underwhelming. I was very disappointed, although my sister (who it was bought for) likes it — which is the only reason this review isn’t even worse. After submitting a formal complaint about the late delivery and complete lack of communication, I was generously offered £2.50 as a “gesture of goodwill”. Not even half the delivery charge, but thanks for the laugh. To top it off, they deduct money from refunds if you need to return or exchange items — so you’re paying for the privilege of being disappointed. Overall, this company is a joke. Poor service, mediocre jewellery, and absolutely not worth the effort. My advice: avoid entirely unless you enjoy chasing emails and being insulted with pocket-change compensation.
