“Absolutely devasted that my sons Grannies necklace not only never arrived on time for Christmas, It was lost in transit apparently the day after I got an email to say dpd had received it! This was a present for someone who doesn’t have long left and now the chances of another one arriving on time to be burried with her is very slim. Got a refund but 0 compensation or gestures. Not a great first experience!”

“So I ordered my wife a necklace with plenty of time for Christmas. It didn’t come, I received some kind of pithy excuse on Christmas Eve and it’s now the 1st of January and I haven’t even received a shipping email.”

“When my order was delivered the parcel had been opened and replaced with a MAC lipstick, while this was down to the courier the replacement that was sent out did not have the engraving on it. I have since sent photo of the item delivered, requested a refund and information on how to return the item and have not had any confirmation on this. This was my first time ordering and was a gift for my husband and I’ve been left very disappointed by the whole experience.”

“I’ve worn this tennis bracelet every day since purchasing it, and it has held up beautifully. It’s hard-wearing, very durable, and still looks as pretty as the day I got it. I also love that it’s hypoallergenic, so it’s comfortable to wear all the time. It arrived in a lovely gift box with great packaging. I absolutely love it!”

“Unfortunately the bracelet I ordered was not up to the usual standard of jewellery that I’ve always received from Abbott Lyon so I was hugely disappointed as this was a special birthday present. The engraving had a black mark on that seemed to be a defect of the engraving which was a shame and with it taking so long to come in the first place it was then too close to Christmas to return it. I was very disappointed with this purchase.”

“Confusing to order and get personalised gift box. Directions state 'add a personalised message to the back of your box'. Order arrived, message on the lid of the gift bix. Not easy to find sizes of gift boxes, so I assumed this would be sized depending on your order. It wasn't. Also not easy or smooth to ask questions about any of these issues before placing order. Beware and cautious. I was caught out and disappointed. Customer services responded to my complaint (after my order arrived) offering to send me a link to gift box sizes. Why isn't it obvious at the ordering stage? Would help to have a preview of how your order will look before paying, so that any tweaks can be sorted at that point.”
