“The reason for the one star is First choice car spares do not seem to have any responsabilty to the people using there service I bought doors two years ago from DERBY AUTO SALVAGE they were packaged damaged and sent to m damaged I went through the complaints procedure but it turns out First Choice just sent the email to the roge trader and nothing was done I had to get a refund from Visa because DERBY AUTO SALVAGE are con men Here i am again , not thinking the same con men can still be here bought a wing for a Suzuki , was supossed to be exellent condition not the case been dragged accross the floor scratched everywhere and im going to Visa again So pretty uninprssed by First Choice choice of registered suppliers to still have CON MEN LIKE DERBY AUTO SALVAGE still handing out scrap parts , ignoring complaints, still in business on First Choice
So the reason for using a parts serch engine is to have the comfort that the parts companies are vetted but it just dosent seem to be that way Poor costomer service, poor choice of suppliers and typical of english costomer service in general

“Despite assurances the fuel rail connector pipe and fittings came off a 2000 Jaguar XKR the pipe cannot have done. The photo could not calrify this, and I relied on assurance which was wrong. No way would the pipe go under the supercharger drive shaft as it should have done, or over it, so despite part number given it was wrong and may have come off much later model? So not good and I had to adapt with new fuel hose and jubilee clips, making the plastic end connectors VERY expensive, but I had to use them this weekend. Any consideration of a goodwill rebate on price would be much appreciated.”

“I ordered some door mouldings off a breaker who's advertising on the first choice platform. Before I ordered the mouldings I did mention my ones were colour coded and the ones you were selling were not and the seller said its exactly the same just not colour-coded but when I received the mouldings the shape was completely different, I did try to contact the seller but with no success. so not very happy about this. I'm out of pocket and I've got mouldings which are no good to me.”

Got several quotes same day, accepted one, part here next day and I good order as described.

“I don’t want to complain about 1st Choice. My complaint is with the breakers who supplied the door. I was sent a picture of a door intact on a car. I then received one with no inside panel or mirror . I called them and they said that this was how the doors come but assured me that all the internal parts are working. I have left the car and door with my mechanic who has now informed me that lots of the working parts have been removed and it is not as they said. This door cost me 130 with delivery and now it’s costing a lot more as the mechanic has additional work and parts to find. I’m very upset and disappointed as I did this to save money not waste it.”
