“Dealer claims he did not see my photo of the part or detailed description. As a result I got incorrect trim of part by mail (overseas!). No way to contact 1st choice spares as the contact form on the website does not submit messages and there are no alternative contact details for online / email communication. Dealer also a hassle to communicate with and only after several emails agreed to a refund. But I'm losing 50 GBP on postage. Will not be using the service again.”

“Your trader ACD was really rude and racist to me from the outset - I informed the part was damaged and instead of giving me their returns policy the man I spoke was outright rude. He charged me 24 pounds after driving his damaged goods to him”

“The part I received was broken into 3 pieces.When I phoned the supplier I was told to contact DHL as they were the delivery agent.DHL did not pack the fragile article without any support.By this time I had lost interest,I won’t be using them again.”

“Paid for a passenger door mirror for a 56 plate Volvo C70. Received a 2008 plate mirror. Not till I paid for it to be fitted did I find it was larger than the driver’s mirror and the electrical connection was different so although the indicator worked the electrics did not!!”

“Unfortunately I found the whole thing painfull due to a faulty part
The refund process was very drawn out and 1st choice was slow to respond to any of the issues I faced due to the faulty part
I even had to pay for the faulty part to be posted back at my own expense”

“Used a company called vaux spares. Initially the wrong part was delivered to then keep being told the correct part was being sent out but it never arrived and was told it was damaged so hadn't been delivered after being told the company had paid extra to have it delivered the day before so dont believe the part was ever actually sent to replace the wrong part and I still have not been refunded. Will pursue the issue and take legal action if necessary”

“Unfortunately the company I was referred to by 1st Choice Spares was abysmal, took money for two parts, only supplied one, wouldn't send receipt despite repeated requests. Part which arrived was in awful condition (clearly damage not caused in transit) not as described and not fit for purpose. Seller won't pick up my calls, 1st Choice Spares uncontactable except for online form to which no answer. Gonna be a chargeback situation I fear. Pathetic service from this company and their partners. Definitely avoid. There are decent people out there, these are not they.”
