The most appalling / expensive group of scrap yard breakers I have ever heard of. They cost more than brand new parts from dealerships. I needed a coil spring which costs £207 from the dealerships. There's beakers asked for over £300 with 1 month warranty. I found it disappointing and disgusting of them .

Thanks for your recent feedback. Saving money is our top priority however smaller items, after adding delivery costs, can sometimes make the price seem higher. It also depends on whether the parts are available and those in short supply, can sometimes come with a premium. We try to find the best price and it may be worth repeating a request, a day or two later. Not sure i would use this service again! So many false sellars that they don't even have the parts or are overpriced and unrealistic .

I purchased a engine it was supposed to be complete but when it arrived there was nothing on it plus some of the stuff that was on it were damaged Mr mcdonald

On two occasions bought an item and paid a week later when we enquired they told us they had not got the item/s. After numerous calls the money was refunded. Definitely would not recommend.

Although it seemed promising to start with, when we received numerous prices for the part we required, we have been let down. The first supplier didn't inform us that the part was in too bad condition until we chased it, the second still hasn't dispatched the item and aren't very helpful.

site easy to use but company on there not good . order an engine and is faulty with oil leak . have sent them countless messages through portal and via there email address and not had a single reply . Think site should have some policing and backup for customers

Returned part unused the same day it was received as it was the wrong. It has been 13 days still awaiting a refund. I have called them three times and they have put the phone down on me twice. I have asked my Credit card company to retrieve my money. Will not be using this company again.

I was requiring a headlight leveling sensor for the rear of my honda civic mk8 2.2 the first car breakers quoted me £50 plus carriage which i told them i could pick it up as they where based in Birmingham as i am unfortunately after 3 attempts to arrange a pick up time over a week they informed me the unit was broken,i put a search in again and another car breaker quoted me £55 plus tracked delivery which i accepted, i payed over the phone with my credit card and was told by the next day i would receive a tracking number from dhl giving details of my delivery date and time, 3 days later still no text message ,i rang the breakers and quoted my reference number and explained i had no contact about my purchase from dhl, they checked and promised me it a was on its way and i would receive it in 2 days that was 2 weeks ago and still no part,fortunately checking my bank account they hadn,t takeh payment for it but this is a part that is required for the mot and its due next week The time i have wasted on these two companies believing in false hope i had sourced the part as they promised me they had on the shelf is frustrating and disappointing to say the least thats why i ,m giving 1st choice spares a very poor rating for my experience in using them. I was given a quote by one of your clients, i.e, AK Motors Ltd. I needed a power steer fluid reservoir tank and the quote was £20. When I called AK Motors, they told me that it was not the full reservoir but just the cover that was £20 and if I wanted to buy the full reservoir box, it would be £42 including Tax and VAT. I immediately cut them off the phone and went elsewhere to buy it for £10. I suggest you verify your clients before having them as a reliable client. I will never use you guys again. AK Motors Ltd have no integrity to do business. Trying to scam the common man instead.

abysmal service! took my money and then spent two weeks trying to sort one out, telling me that there were two types and asking for photos, there was only one type that fitted the van's registration! total waste of two weeks !!! just for your records, i went on a different site found one, had it delivered within 24 hours and it was £200 cheaper, i will never trouble you again !!!

Attached is evidence of leakage at seals which are in poor condition due to dirt buildup. During fitment and bleeding the fluid was passing through the seal on the piston. Removed piston and here is the damage to the seals. Therefore the part is not fit for purpose. Your unsavoury comments on a qualified time served mechanic serve no purpose in this most unsatisfactory experience.

Put my reg in and it said my truck was a manual, when it's actually an automatic! I tried to change it and it wouldn't let me write automatic. This caused me lots of grief as the supplier sent me the wrong part! I didn't notice is said manual until it was too late!!!

Absolutely disgusting service, still waiting after 14days, when i first ordered and paid ,which was on a Saturday was informed be with you by Friday, great ,booked it into garage, had to cancel, now car has been off road since then . Would never recommend them to anyone, and how they are allowed on this site is beyond me

Was sent the wrong part. Had a nightmare returning it. Waited for a ring back, promised by two separate people on two separate calls. Followed up, no sense. Waiting for another promised ring back.

Ordered a part from here by giving them the part number and one of the breaker contacted me saying they have the part which he was sourcing from eBay and double checked the part with me after taking the payment the part was wrong so now I requested for the refund for about 2 weeks now but no refund yet. Don’t waste your time here very disappointed

The initial structure is good, for sources parts it works so well, the downfall is all the hidden reviews, such as a certain 2 star company, with only a hand full of 5 star reviews listed, no lower reviews, and no way of seeing them all, so you can't get a true feel of what the company is like, let alone letting a company so poor still sell through the platform. After being tricked by said company, there's no way of raising issues through 1st choice, or at all, with no means of a resolution. From what I saw on Google's reviews, this scam company, that operates under another name, has scammed a lot more people out of a lot more money than myself, but being scammed out of £70 still wasn't fun. I feel if 1st choice had a better system for assisting in sales and after sales, it could be an amazing site, but the fact they hide reviews, let poor sellers operate, and have no after sales, says a lot about how they operate themselves. Won't be using again, don't recommend anyone else take the risk.
