“Delivery time was a little delayed (due to Bank holiday weekend) but apart from that no issues at all.I fitted these myself -but really a two person job ,I am an experienced diy`er so bear this in mind.If there were improvements to make I would say some sort of instructions on paper to read, clean off the metal particles from the test fit as these were everywhere ,risking scratching the powder coating , stickers on the doors numbering them ,arrows on the doors indicating top and outside face and give an option of screws when ordering as not everyone fits them into concrete /brick openings . The amount of sealant supplied is very very marginal for the job too.They open and close easily and smoothly though .All in all they seem a decent product.”

There should have been a paper copy of the instructions in the hardware box, which also helps with the door facing configuration. “Excellent! Really helpful and well informed sale staff. Like wise the team who organised the delivery and indeed the delivery person as well. I installed the sliding patio doors myself with the help of a more experienced friend and it took us about 5 hours. As always the preparation took far longer but getting the aperture exactly right is everything. The doors helpfully came with a fixing pack but I would recommend buying a longer 6.5mm HSS and 6.5mm SDS drill bits than the ones provided because it is impossible to drill at right angle to the frame without the drill chuck rubbing against the frame with the sstandard bits. Also the instructions said to use the glazing shims when in installing the glass but there weren't any in the pack ( there were enough normal shims in the pack provided and they seemed to do the job). Having drilled the holes I would also recommend covering them with a couple of inches of masking tape so that after screwing in the silicone dipped screws you can pull of the tape and the excess silicone rather than having to try and clean the frame later, a long and messy alternative!”

“Really impessed with the service, communication & quality product from Vufold. Thier customer service called to let us know they could deliver our order eailier than we expected & the delivery driver called 30 min before he arrival to let us know he was on his way. We're having the door fitted by a pro capenter, who commented on the quality producted we had purchsed & the refinishing kit supplied if you need to trim the door to fit!”

“AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Waited 4 weeks for manufacture only to be hit with problems with delivery. Only one man coming to deliver the doors even though "a professional 2 man delivery service" was expected as per their website. The director is rude and was very patronising. He cancelled the order (leaving us with the back of the house open) and has made us start the process again with another company.”

Whilst we do offer a two-man delivery service on many of our products, the sliding door you purchased (with a 3-4 week delivery timescale) is clearly marked as a one-man delivery on our website in 3 different area’s. It also states that you will need additional men on site to offload. This information was provided to you directly during the quoting stage and again straight after placing your custom order. It was only when we came to arrange a delivery date with you it became apparent that this was a problem. Despite Vufold going above and beyond to help you with the delivery it wasn’t good enough. During two conversations with different members of the Vufold team you felt the need to speak aggressively and used a mild swear word excessively. You repeatedly spoke over them, rarely giving them an opportunity to give you the information you were asking for. When they did manage to, this was greeted with yet more ranting. Vufold operate a zero-tolerance policy against unacceptable behaviour towards our staff and request our customers afford us the same respect and courtesy we show them. Having received complaints from both team members I decided to call you myself. My goal was to explain that your delivery queries had been escalated due to what was deemed to be unacceptable behaviour, calmly discuss the delivery process and any difficulties you anticipated with that and finally book in your delivery. Initially I too was subjected to your ranting and excessive mild swearing. After some time, we achieved the above and to your credit you did offer to apologise to any of the Vufold team you may have offended. I advised this wouldn’t be necessary however as I would now hand any further contact back over to the Vufold team, I politely requested you just speak with them in a respectful manner going forward. Yet again more ranting and aggressive tone began. At this point it became apparent to me that you were unable to deal with us in an acceptable manner. At Vufold, customers are always dealt with respectfully as you were, and we expect this to be reciprocated by our customers – your attitude and behaviour repeatedly fell below what is an acceptable standard despite us trying our best to work with you. Being ‘Old school’ is not an appropriate excuse. So, you are correct. I did take the unprecedented decision to cancel your order with us. Rick Collins Managing Director

“Product fine, stated delivery dates are not. Ours was meant to be a friday- Monday delivery and didn't arrive till Wednesday. Not contact about a delay etc.”

Our quick delivery process does mean there is a short window for booking delivery slots, and if they are missed, they fall to the next earliest available slot. After checking with our delivery company, they provided a screenshot showing a call to your phone on Thursday and a voicemail was left to book the initial delivery with you.
