“Really poor service, I preordered a game which didn’t arrive on release date. I messaged them several times over a 6 month period which they told me it was a supplier fault. Then I happened to check the website one day and the item was being sold before my preorder was fulfilled. I complained and it shipped after my complaint, I didn’t get an apology or an acknowledgement that they had messed up several times. Will not be buying again.”

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m genuinely sorry for the frustration caused, especially after waiting so long for a preorder. I’d like to give some clarity on what happened. There was an unexpected stock issue on the release date that affected all retailers, not just us. We didn’t receive our allocation until 14/11/2025, and your order was dispatched the following day on 15/11/2025. Because of the high demand and large volume of preorders, it took our team a few days to process and ship every order, but we did work strictly in date-of-purchase order to ensure fairness. I completely understand how it looked when you saw the product listed on the website, but items aren’t made available for general sale until all preorder stock is accounted for, your order was already in the queue awaiting dispatch at that point. Thank you again for your feedback. We’ll use it to improve how we communicate during release-day stock issues and high-demand periods. “Item arrived as an empty cardboard wrapping. The game had obviously broken the end of the wrapper off and fallen out. Took a number of emails for Zatu to agree that they would send a replacement. I had photos of empty carton which they wanted returned as evidence. That had been taken away by post service so I had no idea what would happen with it. I ended up pointing out that if the parcel hadn't arrived at all I would have been more entitled to have a replacement than the situation I was now in. Replacement eventually got sent but I felt rather grudgingly.”

Our records indicate that the Non-Receipt of Goods form wasn’t initially returned to us, and your case was passed to our escalations team for further review. They advised that we could only issue a replacement once the refused parcel was received back at our warehouse, as we’re required to complete an investigation with the courier before sending out another item. Without the signed form, we weren’t able to proceed any further at that stage. Once the signed form was received from you, we arranged your replacement without delay. We’re glad to see that you confirmed it arrived safely and in good condition. We never want any customer to feel they’re being treated grudgingly, and we’re sorry if the process felt that way.
