Great variety of games, always a go-to when searching for new board games to buy. However I wish there was more communication in regards to games which are on back-order, or waiting for stock to come in. Have found that the restock date isn't always accurate, and there is no communication around when things are expected to be back in stock, if things are delayed etc.

Well packaged and good condition. Took a while to deliver which I gather was due to it being a large order, but the site did state everything was in stock at the time of ordering, but then changed to state that stock needed to be reacquainted.

The game, Brass Birmingham, is without doubt one of the most interesting and challenging economic simulations that I played in a long while. Set in the 19th century, the game revolves around the development of canal and railway networks, and the establishment, around these, of various types of industry. Making money, and creating production and transport networks earns you victory points, and the player with the most VP wins.... the game is cleverly divided into 2 parts. The first based in the canal building era. VP's earnt in this section are carried over into the second section fo the game, which is based aroundd the railway building part of 19th century economic development in this part of England. VP's from the two parts of the game are then added together once the game ends its finale, and the player with the most points wins. Sounds simple, but there are lots of nuances in game play , and different strategies that can be employed. All in all, a very interesting game for 2 to 4 players. Challenging but an awful lot of fun. A definitely recommended 'get' for anyone interested in board gaming. Makes a change from the fantasy and sci fi genres which one sees so many of these days.
