“I used VidiVet for the first time recently after my bengal returned home limping and lethargic. Within a short time of me contacting the service someone was online to me. I felt totally supported and was given great advice from the onset. It turned out the injury to one of the front legs was probably a sprain but even the next day I had vets from the service contacting me to check on recovery. Would totally recommend this brilliant service. Sadly we have no vet presently due to ours closing suddenly but VidiVet proved reassuring and thorough - a massive thanks to all 3 I was in contact with!”

“Reassuring to know you can have contact with a Vet within minutes to help alleviate / advise and guide you through your pet concerns. The follow up video call is that extra personal touch that's let's you know they see through any advice they've given, and /or any concerns you had. Easy to use app”

“Very good service which helps put your mind at ease whilst awaiting a vet appointment in person. The responses are extremely quick, so you don’t have to wait around for an answer at all - just like having a veterinarian in your pocket! You receive very thorough advice and can go back to answer more questions. The only negative thing is that the conversation closes after a couple of days. I wanted to go back to the veterinarian who answered my questions to thank her as she recommended calling my vet to ask for calming medication as my dog is particularly nervous about vet visits. It worked an absolute treat, so thank you Dr Lorraine! 💖”

We're so glad to hear that the calming medication helped and I will make sure that Dr Lorraine receives your lovely feedback! Although conversations are closed after inactivity for 48 hours, you can always send us a new "question" at any time, even if it is just to give feedback! Your questions are linked to your pet in our app and so the vets can see the previous conversation thread and which vet was involved. “Great helpful service for non emergenct out of hours concerns. The app was vweybeasy to use and allpwed us to send videos and photos of iur dog to the vet so they could get a better understandong of the issue. The vet responded very quickly and had great advice. Really put our minds at ease without travelling to our lpcsl vrt late at niggt or paying an out of hours bill.”

“Used Vidivet for the first time when dog appeared to be choking or trying to vomit. Surprised by rapid video response which was helpful. In the end I didn't send further video evidence of symptoms as dog settled but did text to this effect. More surprising was a follow up call from our own vets before I had chance to tell my partner about the Vidivet call so he thought our own vets were psychic when they called to ask how our dog was feeling. All in all an excellent service.”

“My cat had a minor issue with her fur and I wanted to just ask the advice of a vet. Rather than going to the local vet practice I took a video of the fur I was worried about and sent this over to VidiVet. In less than 5 minutes I had an in-depth reply from Dr Sarah. We exchanged a few further videos to clarify details and I had a course of care to resolve my cat's fur issue. Not only exceptional service but excellent value for money. Not only did I save my little one the stress of a 40 mile car journey, I saved money too.”

“Used a couple of times. I was looking for advice while I couldn’t get to a vet to ease my poor pets struggles and both times all I was told was “not sure - go to the vet” From reviews online all I can gather is this app is useful for new dog owners - vets came across as smug and unempathetic. Useless.”

VidiVet is a triage service that is provided to you via your own 'in person' vet practice. When a user presents a clinical problem (i.e. a pet with symptoms of illness), as you did, we will always evaluate the information that you provide us with and advise you as follows: 1) Whether you need to see a vet for a consultation 2) In what time frame this visit should take place 3) Where appropriate, any steps that you can take at home Please do feel free to reach out to us at support@vidivet.com if you would like to further discuss this and we would be happy to chat to you!
