Very good service which helps put your mind at ease whilst awaiting a vet appointment in person. The responses are extremely quick, so you don’t have to wait around for an answer at all - just like having a veterinarian in your pocket! You receive very thorough advice and can go back to answer more questions. The only negative thing is that the conversation closes after a couple of days. I wanted to go back to the veterinarian who answered my questions to thank her as she recommended calling my vet to ask for calming medication as my dog is particularly nervous about vet visits. It worked an absolute treat, so thank you Dr Lorraine! 💖

Hi Abigail, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review! We're so glad to hear that the calming medication helped and I will make sure that Dr Lorraine receives your lovely feedback! Although conversations are closed after inactivity for 48 hours, you can always send us a new "question" at any time, even if it is just to give feedback! Your questions are linked to your pet in our app and so the vets can see the previous conversation thread and which vet was involved. All of the vets on the service love to hear how you have got on, it means a lot to them to know that they have helped! Have a lovely week and we look forward to seeing you on the app again soon!

I was quite nervous as it was our first visit. Mr Steve and one of the receptionists were very friendly and caring. I was glad to select this vet.

It was very reassuring to have the option of this and the vet seemed very good. However I was only able to send a text message from my phone and couldn't for some reason open the video reply. I used my husband's phone to do this. Appreciated the advice but if it had been a live interchange between us I could have asked a few questions. Did see tech support link but didn't follow it up as the vet said most things in his response. Thank you

Hi Pamela, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am sorry to hear that you weren't able to play the response on your device. I would encourage contact with our support team to resolve this issue and I will ask them to follow up with you by email today. VidiVet operates with a non-live message exchange, where you will always receive a prompt video response within minutes from an experienced UK vet. The benefit to this over a live exchange is that you can continue to ask questions, at your convenience, for as long as you wish, by continuing to press the reply button in the app. This therefore takes away the pressure to have to ask all questions during a short consultation time. The vet will always be able to see all messages exchanged and can continue the conversation accordingly. A non-live exchange can also be particularly helpful if you need to show us something that your pet is doing, as it removes the pressure of them having to do it during a designated consultation slot. This service is ideal for someone like me who is disabled as it can save a trip to the vets. The advice was fast and extremely helpful!

VidiVet was brilliant. Vet Lorraine gave me some very in-depth and personal advice concerning my dog and his infected eye. Not only was it lovely to get the video but the response came within minutes of me asking my question and sending my video. I found it really helpful. The only issue I had was initially uploading my video, it took a few tries for it to work but I'm very glad I persevered as the response was well worth it.

Vidivet is great, especially when there are concerns during out of hours. Responses are speedy, even over a bank holiday weekend. Vets have come back to check up my pet, which is great! I gave four stars as I do find the continuity of information from the different vets frustrating with each response from a new vet.

Thank you so much for this feedback and that you have had access over the bank holiday weekend while your vets was closed! As the founder of VidiVet I have always had two passions: create an awesome customer experience alongside a brilliant place to work for vets to support those with pets however they need. Our service runs 24/7, and much as though we would love our vets to complete every conversation one on one, like with most businesses who care about their staff,we have to look after our vets and their mental wellbeing. We don't ask our vets to work 24/7 because we want them to be fully recharged when they are working and fully focused on supporting people like you so this means that from time to time, you may speak to more than one vet over the app. However, we did consider this scenario. Some people want to see the same vet: perfectly understandable! So, whilst we couldn't do that for every conversation, the fact that our app stores everything you ask and the vets reply with means that each vet has full visibility of all that is said. We also have a handover between vets so that everyone is informed about any cases that need ongoing support. I would trust all of the vets who work for me and their opinion with my own pet: it is a part of our selection criteria for the right people to work on the service.
