“Why would you insure with Vavista? I have changed my car. The portal says that I am unable to make changes at this time. I therefore called the number provided. It was answered first after 20 minutes but once security questions had been answered was dropped. The second time I called the phone was answered after 22 minutes but then went back onto hold before being dropped after 28 minutes. My third call dropped with speaking to anyone after 26 minutes. I would not have clicked on 1 Star but had to to be able to leave a review. It gives you the option to add a photo to strengthen the review but then it doesn't.”

“Originally with Debenhams, but was moved to this lot during the course of the policy. Their main interest in life is charging 'administration fees' - quoted additional 50 quid fee for putting grand-daughter on policy for five days. Eventually tired of rude customer service I decided to cancel - they have a phone extension for cancellation but it cuts you off after 30 seconds, so had to go via 'policy changes'. Charged an extra 90 pounds 'administration' for cancelling the policy plus a fee for cancelling the legal expenses cover which incurred a larger fee than the 25.99 the policy actually cost ! I dread to think what would happen if you had an accident whilst covered by this company. Avoid at all costs.”
“had a car accident in October I hit a curb phoned claims line made a claim and I had to waite for 2 weeks before thay could get my car fixed there was no option for a curtacy car till my can whent in to garrage so I had to cancel claim and pay £612 pounds to get my car fixed as I am a nhs worker and needed car for work”

“Consistently making mistakes that have wasted my time. I've called them ahead to try and help them but they are seriously incompetent. Have said I don't have cover for certain things, when I have evidence that I do, they continue saying that I don't, then after weeks of calls and emails they then backtrack. Have got my NCB wrong, despite numerous calls and emails. Insurance shouldn't be a massive headache where you have to chase them over and over to get basic tasks done correctly. Don't waste your time, pick a reputable and decent company.”

“Absolute joke waited for a call back after agreeing to a quote for renewal they called twice 2 days before it ran out only to put me on hold then hang up on me them calling me back once my policy was over with ridiculously priced quotes left me uninsured made me wait costing me £200 in temp cover whilst I waited only to once again let me down again. Finally got in touch after ME chasing them for days to tell me they can't do nothing please please STAY AWAY they are con artists complete joke.”

MY RENEWAL IS DUE AND WAS QUOTED £2100 with 4 years NC bonus, then to add salt to wound I was told it's because they thought my son is the main policy holder. What a stupid excuse as I always check my policy in details.
I have now got my new car insurance with LV for £1060. Thanks for the poor service and trying to pull a fast one!!”
“My name is Perri Taylor I have been with Debenhams car insurance for two years no problem, it gets changed over to this company and my policy went up double the price! when I rang up to ask why the lady was very unhelpful and told me that it was because they had change companies, I told the lady I couldn’t afford that price and to cancel my policy I would have to find another company.
They have stolen £112 out of my account I am still waiting after five days for a call back to tell me what’s happening? I get I silenced call at 5:18 on a Saturday when I tried to ring back 5:20 the phone cuts me of I ring back and the company is closed!
So now I have to wait till Monday to get back in touch with somebody. Not good and when my new insurance goes to take the money from my account it’s not going to be there! so therefore I’m going to get charged on top of my money being stolen out of my account this has made me very unhappy as I suffer with mental health issues and I’ve had to take medication to try and calm down from the situation This has made me very unwell. Don’t Use This Company”
