“Due to a named driver not put on insurance and although the policy was 7 days before term started I was going to be charged £25 and £25 to cancel so I cancelled”

“On the Daily Mail comparison website it said that courtesy car cover was included, but it wasn’t, it was an extra which made the final premium much less competitive 🙁🙁”

I've used Vavista for two years now and been very pleased.Their website its easy to navigate and had no problems with it until my renewal I needed answers to two questions and needed to contact customer service.
After a 40 minute wait I gave up and paid £66.00 more to insure with Tesco.
When will these companies learn that sometimes we don't need to be thanked for our patience and told our call is very important when clearly it isn't.
I don't like leaving negative reviews and I would reccomend this company.
But unfortunately because of my experience I'm unable to rate 5 stars.”

“Not so much issue with getting initial insurance however I am not trying to get hold of them to see why my renewal is double last year and I cannot get through to anyone. The options on the telephone don’t seem to work and I’ve tried them all, feel very disappointed. If only there was a live chat”
“No problem with the getting the insurance, however when calling the customer service number there was no answer after the call had been dialled and on a separate occasion could hear the background sound and people singing but no one was speaking to me”
“Payment / price was good/smooth . Unfortunately didn’t give me the 3rd party extension to drive other cars which I’ve had for the past 20 years of driving with multiple companies (comes in handy when car breaks down or need another car in emergency use). Had to cancel before the insurance even started £25 cancellation fee.”

“All good until they renewed my policy with out speaking to me and took the money out my account.
Said they had emailed and even though I hadn't responded they just took it upon themselves to renew it anyway. I don't think this is good practice and I probably will not use again because of this.”

“Decent quote but absolutely terrible customer service. Had to speak to 4 different staff before finally getting my renewal sorted. They treated me like they were giving me the insurance for free or something. They are lucky I didn’t really have time to search around otherwise I really wouldn’t have renewed with them.”
