“I’ve been using the MC for years and although they have always provided a good enough service I don’t deem it to be knockout 5* service hence the middle range 3 stars. Here’s why, there fee is a lot and since the last time I used them it’s gone up by £100. What did I get for it? An hours phone call discussing mortgage options and securing a product there and then, other than that we’ve had very little comms from them. It agreaves me really to pay this fee as I don’t see enough for my money. Have I actually saved myself some money taking into account their fees as opposed to just finding a mortgage rate myself? I’m not sure, would I use them again?, not sure - I think we’ll assess our options next time to see if it’s worth using them”

“I recently used The Mortgage Company to help me decide on the best possible mortgage for me in order to buy my first house. i was assisted by Tara and Gill who were absolutly amazing, polite, understanding, very well knowlegable and informed. they talked me through every step of the process, gave me plenty of time to answer simple to complex questions. they kept themself informed of the changing market e.g. interest rates and made sure i got the best deal.
