“So many online butchers over promise and underdeliver, yet to date I have been really impressed with Swaledale Butchers. The beef was clearly from native breeds and dry aged as promised… you can tell by the cut size and texture… it tasted great. Keep up the good work!”

“The order arrived on time and the meat was well chilled. So far we have tried the unsmoked bacon & sausages which were delicious. The crowning glory was the shoulder of pork, what a difference a properly slow grown animal makes when eventually it becomes meat for the table.”

“This is delicious tender meat from Yorkshire delivered at it's very best straight to your door, at the weight and size you require. I was walking my dog Jasper one day in Bedale about 2 years ago when a van went past saying Swaledale Butchers and I thought wow maybe they wouldp deliver to us ! The rest as you say is history ! Many excellent deliveries later we could not be more satisfied with the quality of your meat and often recommend to our friends. Thank you.”

“Swaledale meat is awesome full of flavour and succulent. Also there is a wide range of meat to choose from.,including meat from my childhood e.g heart and breast of lamb. High animal welfare,where the animals can wander freely...better for them and better for us.Would strongly recommend!”

“Great meat at an almost reasonable price - excellent delivery. To clarify - all meat has become inordinately expensive so if you have to pay at least you know you are getting quality here. The onglet was very good indeed and always keep an eye on the monthly specials. I've tried a fair few online butchers and this one is overall the best”
