“The two runners are absolutely lovely. They compliment the hall way brilliantly and the colour is true to that shown on web site. Delighted. I also purchsed the Anti-slip underlay which stops any movement. Very -leased with my purchaes.”

“This rug is beautiful. Just keep in mind it is a runner and will only have the border on the sides. Not the ends. A little disappointing, but it’s beautiful.”

“We completed a full stair redo, we have had traditional carpet on the stairs since buying the home. We did a remodel and took a chance on the stairs and using a stair runner. We ordered our runner and step kit. We completed the prep work on the stairs while waiting for delivery. The Runner was delivered quickly in about a week, we reviewed the how to install video and we’re off and running. We completed the step work cutting and installing the pad and tack strips. That was easy we cut strips and pad to fit and nailed and tacked them down. We run the carpet from the buttom up to complete the first half and the top down for the second half. We had a “right turn” with two steps in it. We run to the bottom of the last step up and to the under side of the underside down last step. We measured the rest, fitted the front of the angle turn step. We had to make a pattern match piece for the front of the step and cut to fit. This was made easy to attach with the tack strips in place. The piece was a bit tricky because of the pattern matching it took two try’s to be honest. It worked out in the end get the 10% extra when ordering. Tying in and down on the corner as a little tricky, you have to cut the binding to change the angle and trim to fit. A quick triangle matching the pattern an extra piece of padding and trim that to fit. Once that was done, had some carpet tap and glue. Once that was in place added a few staples in the groves to hide and hold. For the edging we used a couple of white molding take nails to get though and hold tightly. Used a nail punch to get under the top edging and hide the nails. Tapped to be sure they were as flush as possible. The entire process of cutting strips, pad and laying runner took about three hours. The end results were great, what a difference it makes on the steps. We did order a couple of matching floor rugs to complete the look one by the front door and one for the floor at the bottom of the steps. Something to consider when pressing the runner. Thanks to Rugrug we got the order quickly and the materials we needed to make it a success. Just took a bit of thinking to get the turn right:)!”
