I phoned ahead to see if I needed an appointment to purchase a hat and was told that I could just walk-in. This advice was friendly and helpful. Excited at the prospect of visiting this shop I paid for a rail ticket from Oxford £40 return and my friend also paid for a rail ticket from another part of the country at £40 return. I brought with me my Mother of the Bride dress and shoes to ensure a perfect match to a hat. On arrival at the shop I was met with a cold welcome, feeling awkward I said I was told I could walk in to look at hats. The Sales Assistant then said to me "well you can look but we don't have any time to help you!" This completely burst my excited bubble and if the wedding was further away in time I would have walked out there and then. I said to the assistant politely that I was disappointed as I was expecting some help. This improved the situation and she and another assistant both helped. I left with a fabulous hat that I love but was not invited to try my outfit on with it! I spent £255 within 10 minutes of arriving. They need to remember every customer counts and this supposed to be an exciting purchase.

Sorry , Again can’t give a review as I’m still waiting for a hat I’ve paid almost £200 to go with a dress I got from you … it still hasn’t arrived and I’m now worried that if my whole outfit won’t be suitable my 7 days is going to be up for returning a £550 dress ???

Disappointed with the finish of the lace opplique bodice. Because there were lots of threads not been finished off also bits of the lace I had to snip off. And there weren’t any labels attached to the dress,so I can only assume it is new. Decided to keep it as I’d been look for one of these dresses for a long time for my daughter’s wedding . I don’t expect to pay over £550 for a dress that you have to tidy up yourself when you receive it. If I could have afforded the travel costs I would have visited the shop in person and therefore probably receive a much better service. I think they get away with not checking internet orders because it’s the customers word against yours ,plus it’s all a cost for the customer to post it back.

The facility for trying on dresses in London is very cramped with a small and low stool, a problem if you have any mobility problems. The changing area is a small cubicle separated by a curtain from the main dress area which can be very busy. It therefore feels somewhat exposed and not very private. There is a reasonable choice of dresses but it may be worth checking beforehand if they have many in your size if coming from any distance. 2 hours is a good length of time but not much help if there is little to actually try on.

The Veni Infantino dress I thought was poor quality for the price. The sizing seemed out, as I am usually a 10/12, ordered a size 10 which drowned me. The refund process took 12 days for the funds to go back into my account. The email I sent regarding the refund was not replied to, I just got an automated email to say the funds had been refunded to my account, but they were still not refunded for another 4 days. I have ordered from other dress shops and the refund was processed on the same day the outfit was received. I am quite disappointed with this company.
