Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“This dog treat bag is amazing!! It is everything I wanted but haven't been able to find anywhere else, in fact... It's way better than expected because the quality is so much high than I expected to be able to get for the type of bag I wanted! The price made it a very lucky find for me, I was dubious but decided to take the chance and just ordered three of the bags and it has been my be as t purchase in years. A good sized treat bag with shoulder strap, main pouch divided into two (kibble + higher reward treats) and pockets that have two new rolls of poo bags, a pack of tissues, training whistle, collapsible target stick for training in and you wouldn't even think there was anything in the pockets! Great magnetic close which is far more effective than I expected! The double inner pouch has really good lining but it is also removable so it can be washed which is amazing! Around amazing purchase from a business new to me and they certainly demonstrates how good and reliable they are. Will be be using again.”

“Great selection of gear, packaged well and delivered promptly. Was looking for a new rain coat for our wirehaired vizla which isn't easy due to his deep chest and long legs. Got the Hurtta monsoon which fits perfectly.”

“Great service and speed of delivery. Product is of great quality. Not only do I use it for my dogs collar but also use the additional clips on my running shoes when out running, definitely get noticed then!!”

“Excellent service. Delivery was really quick and I was kept updated on the progress of my order. The quality of the double ended lead is exceptional. The clips are strong and excellent quality and the rubberised detail on the lead ensures it doesn't slip when my hands or gloves are wet. I would highly recommend Mountain Dog.”

“This is the second harness I’ve bought from Mountain Dog. I messed up my order the first time and they were so very helpful. The harness (Comfort Walk Pro Harness) is really good quality and so when I needed a second, I bought from here again. Amazing service again! Dispatched the same day and delivered very quickly! Would highly recommend!”

“Always good delivery service and great quality products … the Icepak jackets for my now 12yo dog, who never liked wearing clothing, is very happy with these 2 jackets I bought … comfy in all the right places (under elbows, shoulders and neck) non restrictive, adjustable and great quality. She is enjoying a bit of extra warmth and protection from the winter weather this year! I have had other products from MD and have been very happy with service and quality.”

“We bought dog coats, towels, a Kong toy and a training pouch. All of the items are good quality and were sent out promptly. However, the parcel was dispatched using Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and this was abysmal. The parcel was sent by Royal Mail from the local centre to the wrong depot and then had to be resent to another depot in a different part of the country before it could be sent to our local delivery centre. What should have been a 48 hour service, ended up being a 6 day service. A different courier would be better in future.”

Lovely to hear you're so pleased with all the items from your order Christine. I can see, our hard working team shipped your free shipping order the same day it was placed on the Wednesday 20th after our 2pm same day shipping cut off and Royal Mail completed delivery on Monday 25th within our 3-5 working day estimate for our free delivery service. Alas, it does seem Royal Mail where up against it with your parcel in this instance, due to high volumes within their network, around what has become Black Friday Month for most, along with adverse weather in many areas including localised flooding. As you can imagine we have tried all carriers over the years and on a whole have found Royal Mail to be the most reliable (in many cases nothing beats a local posties knowledge). Thank you so much for choosing our small business rest assured we do value your review and feedback.

“First class product and a relief something that isn't made in China!! British made excellent quality. I purchased two of the shock anchor tethers for our labradors to travel in the car,as they have a habit of jumping straight out when the boot is opened. These have done the trick, although the labs were not impressed! Good comms throughout and easy payment. I highly recommend and would buy again from this company.”
