About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Order a Rukka coat and a Ruffwear harness for our dog. Harness was perfect. The cost was massive! As it was we were off on holiday to Northumberland so called in to the store on the way. Very helpful staff and tried two coats on before swapping it for the correct size. Would defiantly recommend this company again very helpful and great products. Thank you.”

“I got this ramp for my elderly cat to help her to go outside so she didn’t have to jump up and down 2 steps. It’s a really good product and really pleased with it”

“Really good service, coat is as described except the colour. I wanted the green one which you have on your website as blackberry. I thought it was an odd name as it was green not purple / blue.... I assumed that was bilberry as per your website. Turns out I got the blue one which I'd say is blackberry and the green bilberry. Hey ho turns out I like the blue an way so life's good. You need to change your pictures around und though. Other than that great service dog lives the coat and it fits really well.”

Hello Simon, Your doggo is looking very cosy and happy in the new coat! Sorry to hear about your confusion with the colours, we have checked the product listing and the colours variants are correct. Our colours are as follows; Beetroot as light pink colour, Bilberry as a blue and blackberry as black. We don't offer a green colour as mentioned within our Expedition Parka range. “Fits great. I had to rewaterproof it with Niki Wax. The zip has come undone from the neck end twice. Hoping I don't have to modify it with a press stud.”

“I would highley recomend the petsafe telescopic dog ramp. Its safe and easy to use, light weight and easy to store when travelling.Or 10 month old german shepard had no problem using it for the first time. Tempted with a few dog treats, he was in and out our kia sorento in no time. Kind Regards William.”
