About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Bought a medium for my 12 year old working cocker. He can't walk as long as he used to so struggles to keep up with my younger one. This was perfect for him. He was a bit iffy to begin with and didn't tolerate being in it for too long, but I think with some time, he'll enjoy it. Really sturdy, great size and lovely colour. It's such good quality and I feel it will support him better than some of the cheaper options. Totally worth the money. I hope we can get lots of use out of it.”

“Can't review the lamb sweet potato and mint biscuits as the dog hasn't tried them yet, though she has had the chicken with herbs which she likes.Delivery was excellent in fact surprisingly quick pricing acceptable.Will be using again thank you!”

“I wasn’t too confident these would work for my GSD who’s started dragging her back leg and scraping her toes. Although slightly too long, they’re doing the trick in protecting her toes. Well made, strong Velcro, easy to fit and they stay put.”

“Bought for my caviller King Charles (who is long and lean) - product quality is great, very useful instructions etc. however 2 challenges for my dog - hates the harness being pulled off over his head (only way to do it without loads of fiddling to loosen it to be bigger) and it looks uncomfortable for him under his arms - he is slowly getting used to it.”

Thank you for the honest review. Sorry to hear that he is not a fan of the harness. Unfortunately, we only supply over the head style harnesses. What I have found with fitting experience is that often if the harness is too close to the armpits, you can loosen the neck and it will drop the harness further down the back. You just need to adjust the harness to fit more securely to your dog's body. Hope this helps, Mountain Dog Team.

“My favourite part of Mountain dog is actually their “Houdini proof” harness section. It makes me chuckle every time. I have two too-smart-for-their-own-good whippets and the second one just learned to Houdini out of his old harness. Caught the same model as we own for our other whippet on sale. Harness was sent day after and within a couple of days we didn’t have to worry about any more vanishing acts. Their pick and mix selection also looks amazing and will be ordering some of those very soon! Would highly recommend”
