About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Very easy and quick to buy on the website. Arrived on time and well packed. Item works really well although you will need a bit of elbow grease on the hairy bits of the carpet.”

“Cooper , my 6 month Pointer / Lab cross loves Mountain Dog. Their products suit Coops active lifestyle 🤣. Well made , innovative and fun. He’s got a Ruffwear Hi & Light Lightweight harness which he rocks and the Ruffwear Hydro Plane encouraged him to swim for the first time . 👍 It’s well designed and ,dare I say it , seems indestructible. Nice company to deal with.”

“I have recently purchased a Ruffwear Float Coat Life Jacket and Orbiloc safety light. We booked a last minute boating holiday and wanted the life jacket as our dog hasn’t boated before. I wanted this jacket which was out of stock everywhere. I called Mountain Dog who were so helpful and advised they would be getting stock in and could despatch on the same day to ensure I got it in time. They were even better than their word as the jacket arrived a week early and their speedy delivery worked as promoted and we had it within 24 hours of despatch. It is a perfect fit for our dog and we are very pleased with the quality of this product. Her approval to wear it also shows it is comfortable as she’s not one to get dressed up! We have fitted the light to the handle. Thank you to Mountain Dog for your knowledge, help and super efficient service. We will definitely be returning for other items!”

“This is the second bungee lead I have purchased as I inadvertently left the old one in the back of the car with my dog who chewed the clasp! I have a setter with high prey drive and this is an excellent tool to keep her under control on moorlands where she would otherwise be quartering the land. I use my lead round my waist leaving hands free but would advise anyone ordering to allow for this when considering which lead length to purchase.”

“We ordered a harness after it was recommended by his Doggy Day Care - its fantastic. Our pup has growing pains at the moment and we've noticed he more comfortable in his ruffwear harness than in his old one. Excellent quality and looks great. Deliver was speedy and the website was easy to use. We'll be ordering again!”
