About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Stanley would like to thank Mountain Dog for the quality of products they sell and the speedy delivery. The Ruffwear Basecamp Bed is a definite favourite at home and has to come with him in the campervan, he'll drag it to the back door to make sure it is not forgotten. For a little extra freedom when walking in the countryside, the Ruffwear Hitch Hiker Leash is perfect for putting his nose to the ground and meandering four times the miles than we would cover. The handler tethered to the other end however, requires a sixth sense to know what manoeuvre he is going to do next to avoid a tangle with my wife! The Kong Wubba Fins which we call Squ-ishy (abb from Squeaky Fish) is his cherished toy. The sqeak certainly gets his attention, and he treats it with such delicate care, unlike his owner who is intent on launching it as far as is possible for him to fetch. The last item we purchased for the little boy was the Ly Dog Sleeping Bag for wild camping in the tent. Stanley wasn't sure about being zipped in, but liked the fact we could separate the mat from the top cover. In essence, Stanley loves all the goodies purchased and he may well be perusing the Mountain Dog website for more ideas, if he has gear envy when introducing himself to other four legged friends.”

“Since we brought our pup home, mountain dog have been a great resource for high quality gear. We bought her first “grown up” harness, made by Non Stop Dogwear, and were so impressed by the quality that the majority of her collars and harnesses are Non Stop! I recently started training for canicross and picked up more gear including a beautifully made DNA bungee leash, made in the UK too! Dispatch and delivery are incredibly fast and efficient. For the few bits that weren't suitable or didn’t fit, the return process was really straightforward and refunds issued quickly. Great company!”

“Bought the 5 m long line with handle. As you can see from the photo it was ideal to use at the beach for our very large Labrador. It gave us great control and he had some freedom too. The rubber nodules gave it a very good grip and it dried very quickly. Very happy.”
