About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Bought a ruffwear harness for my escapee dog. It's great: is comfy and keeps him safe. Excellent customer service as well because I bought both the wrong colour and wrong size! I got an exchange with no problem. Highly recommend.”

“Hurtta no pull harness' have made a huge difference with our four dogs ...two of them considered themselves part of a husky team and dragged us along as such but while wearing these harnesses we are now able to walk easily and stress-free ! Absolutely worth every penny and as always a fast and efficient delivery from mountain dog, thank you!”

“Bought a harness for my Viszla puppy and it’s perfect! I’ve tried other harnesses but they cut into under his arms and rubbed. The new harness sits further back and sits more comfortably. Highly recommend x”

“Most of the gear is good, especially when on sale. I do not, however, like the ordering/checkout process at all. The most annoying thing is that the site they use to process the order basically forces you to save all your card details, etc; and I really, really hate that.”

“We have a coat before for our previous dog which was brilliant and lasted years well made . This is why we are a returning customer. We had to change the size as it didn't fit him . We ended up 3 Rd time it fitted perfectly. Mountain dog didn't even charge me for the postage. Thanks again Regards Mr Scott”

“Having spent literally hundreds on different leads to stop my dog pulling I accidentally came across this front harness - what a game changer. My dog is a large husky who could win medals for pulling. This harness means I can get back to enjoying walking. Thank you”

“Fits very well and is cushioned where most other harnesses are not. A bit worried about the plastic connector ring, would prefer this to be metal but so far it has not snapped. Very happy with this harness.”
