About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“I recently ordered two Ruffwear undercoat water jackets for my dogs. The sizing guide was extremely off. Whether that is down to Mountain Dog or RuffWear, I am unsure, however, MD issued a return label at no cost and had two smaller jackets sent out within a week. The customer service provided is excellent.”

“Absolutely amazing, my pooch loves it, must be comfy as she used to hate putting on the old one. This one she just sits to be geared up. Only one downside, it doesn't have the under neck hook as I've a greyhound I need to put the lead under the neck not just tge back hook as it restrains her pulling up and escapades. It's so good that we didn't want to return so we just bought a carabiner lockable hook for under the neck and we're enjoying stressfree walks. Thank you:)”

“I was very happy with Mountain Dog. Their customer service is excellent. I purchased a Collar, lead and harness , when it all arrived, we loved the collar and harness but my girl is a recent Tripaw and the lead was to long for us, it gave her to much freedom I returned the lead and got a refund immediately”

“I got small squeaky Chuckit balls for my Bichon Freis which were a waste of money. One arrived without a squeak but had fallen out of its' card carrier into the box, the other upon testing gently just pressing 1/4 inch squeaked once! Very fragile, my DeeDee is still disappointed when she picks her ball to play with. Delivery seemed to take an age too. I am looking for alternative suppliers for hopefully a better outcome.”

Hi Kimberly, Many thanks for leaving us a review. I can see your package was delivered within our SLA for standard shipping (2 working days). The packaging from ChuckIt products is minimal by design. This is great for our planet, but unfortunately means the cardboard can be damaged quite easily. I'm sorry to hear your disappointment with this. As dog lovers ourselves, we completely understand the excitement and disappointment when a toy doesn't work to the best of its standards. Please be aware that this is not a common occurrence. All of our products, especially toys are provided by the most trusted and reliable retailers to prevent issues like this from arising. “Great customer service as the harness I originally thought was the correct sizing for my dog turned out to be too big. They paid for the return postage and sent me an exchange within a few days. I now have the correct sized harness for my Romanian rescue dog Scooby, just in time for the expected warmer weather.”

“I purchased a harness and a matching lead costing over £70.00. Less than 3 months later the plastic clip on the harness broke. I dont know how it broke it was probably done whilst she was wearing it. She is a puller hence why we purchased one with a front clip also. I took photos to show the clip and where it broke. I was told that it was damaged by a third party.... I dont know how they came to that and they would not refund or replace. They stated they did not want to make a profit from this so offered me another harness i could for £37 which included postage!!!!!! I have 3 dogs. 2 Beagles and 1 Chow Chow. I have always had dogs. This harness must of broke because it was defective. Mountain Dog did not even want me to send it in to investigate further. They just wanted another £37. I will never recommend using this company.”

We've sold many of these harnesses over the years, and can say with assurance that the damage to your harness is not due to a manufacturing fault and therefore cannot be covered under warranty. “It's a good strong lead I've seen some reviews sating the lead slips through there hands if you grip tight enough it doesn't slip. does twist now and again due to the carabiner. But I knew that anyway.on the plus side it's well built .looks good .it's the best dog lead I've had”
