About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“I recently bought a backpack for my Shih Tzu but it was too small. The return process was easy with great communication and the refund arrived within 2 days. I then bought the correct size and I'm so pleased with the product. What a great service from Mountain Dog. Will use again for all my dog related supplies.”

“I found what I was looking for very easily and it arrived within a few days. I'd measured my dog in a cordance with the sizing guide, bought a coat to match and hoped it would be ok. Unfortunately, the coat was way too big and I requested a return. I was surprised to learn that I would be covering the cost of return postage and that my refund would not include my original cost of shipping. I appreciate returns are inconvenient for online businesses, but I've had better return experiences with other online retailers. Most cover your return cost and send out replacements free of charge. The returns T&C's need to be looked at because I'm pretty sure they are not in-line with distance selling regulations. I accepted the refund, minus the cost of my original shipping, but I don't see why I wasn't refunded in full. I followed the sizing guide, measured my dog appropriately and I'm £10 worse off as a result. I will check return policies in future!”

We're sorry to hear the coat you bought didn't work for your dog. the good news is that all our sizing guides use sizing provided by the manufactures and are correct to the garments/items we sell. Alas, like with items for ourselves not everything works for everyone so we can never be 100% that an item will suit until it meets a dog. Different shape dogs/breeds of our best furry friends will fit a coat differently to each other. Rest assured our returns policy is in-line with distance selling rules. “Mountain Dog are brilliant! I had a problem with the item I purchased from them and they very quickly resolved it most satisfactorily. I think this is excellent customer service and because of this I will most definitely be purchasing from them again and would recommend them to buy from. The item was delivered very quickly as well. Overall a very good experience.”

“Excellent service, item arrived in good time! Unfortunately the coat didn't fit and so I had to return. Sadly the smaller size was out of stock. Girl on phone was very helpful!”

“The frisbee is fantastic our family dog has several of them at different places he goes . He uses some indoors and some are kept for outdoors. They are so hard wearing they last for years.”

“Absolutely love the harness that I bought from Mountain Dog. My little pooch doesn’t like having things over his head so this is perfect. The colour is great and it fits him super well. I wish I would have found this harness earlier ! 100% recommend”
