“Facility A pleasant room where the service was held. We were quite a small gathering, and it suited us well. The seats for the family at the front were comfortable but very close to the front/speaking desk/screens. Several guests commented that it was good to have covered areas for guests to wait on both entering and exiting the main room especially as the weather was poor on the day. Good audiovisual service for music and photos. Good PA system. Good parking Staff and Service I wasn't very conscious of the Memoria staff on the day, which probably means that they did a good job, along with the Funeral Director and his colleagues and the celebrant - all were unobtrusive but attentive and helpful. It was very good to have an hour long slot. Even though we didn't use the full time, it took away any sense of having to rush through the service or of being on a conveyor belt of services. That helped us a lot. I didn't communicate directly with Memoria at any stage. All communications were done on our behalf by Storeys Funeral Services and the Celebrant, James Dooley, so the questions below are not applicable.”

“Amber Valley provided a lovely and peaceful setting to say goodbye to my Mum. Choices were given as to the setting including lighting and media, if required. Everything at the service was excellent.”

“We held my sister’s service here and would like to say how peaceful a space this is. Comfortable seating, tranquil space and a stunning location. Although the weather was none too kind for us on the day we had a blizzard snow storm which hindered real appreciation of the location. Everyone commented on what a lovely service it was.”
