“I wasn't happy about the amount of time it took for the deceased to be collected. She passed at 4 in the morning and doctor certified the death at 9 but wasn't collected until 3.40 in the afternoon.”

“The whole service and using the kitchen in St Edmunds was brilliant. Revd. Philip was superb and the order of service was wonderful. Ps not sure if this is regarding the church admin or the funeral directors. Both were good.”

“I was very comforted and supported by Memoria for the lovely Celebration of my husbands Life on Wednesday, 16th September 2026. The Chapel is welcoming, cosy with the most comfortable seating and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this lovely Chapel and its surroundings.”

“My family and I were very pleased to have chosen to have my husband's funeral with you at Memoria in North Oxfordshire, It's a very calm and beautiful green space surrounding the chapel and the Churchill Pavilion. We booked a double slot and enjoyed having time to relax and meet our family and friends with some very good refreshments after the Service in the Churchill Pavilion. The staff were helpful and thoughtful throughout helping us to make the right choices . We also took advantage of live streaming the service for our friends and family that were unable to join us on the day. And it was also great, not having to worry about any parking issues.”

“A wonderful setting to hold a cremation. The chapel is welcoming, the grounds are well kept and carparking is ample. I have had both parents cremations there two years apart and the standard was perfect on both occasions I would highly recommend this venue for a cremation.”

“My wife's recent funeral and subsequent refreshments afterwards in the Churchill Pavilion was conducted with smooth efficiency. Prior to the funeral all my questions and requests were fully answered with respect and compassion. All staff were very professional.”

“Plenty of car parking room.The seeting was very clean and comfortable. The sound system was adequate without being overpowering. The reception area afterward was all that I hoped for. The sesitive but professional performance of Funeral director and celebrant helped to produce a solumn but dignified atmosphere. If it was not for the overarching sadness of the occasion, which could not be denied, I might have even enjoyed the cermony. Thank you”
