Recently attend memorial service, so poorly attended but it was really lovely. Ladies choir, tea & cake. Gardens are beautiful setting, peaceful and well maintained with ample space, options but it is so expensive with a 10year lease and this made us choose another option

The memoria building is in a lovely setting for respectful send off. Everything was respectful and dignified. Only slight disappointment was that the wrong music was played as the coffin was brought in.

The building is great for small to medium sized funerals but very poor for anything bigger. COnsidering all of the land available, acccess and parking is a disgrace and inexcusable. The decor, comfort and actual funeral service is excellent.

I wish I knew how rushed the services feel. If you want a service where you don’t feel like you’re being turfed out as soon as it’s finished and want to say goodbye to your loved ones coffin after the committal then gorleston crematorium is the place to go.

Everything regarding the service was very satisfactory...the music and film tribute seamless and staff courteous. Thank you

We were quite disappointed with the access to the Crematorium as a service prior had run over their allotted time, which made it very hard for our mourners to gain access, especially people in taxis etc.. which added to our sadness. Also the coffin was put on the rollers at the very back, which meant we felt quite far away and as it was a private committal we feel that shouldn't have been done. As we would have wanted to go up and touch coffin, but it looked like it was on a conveyer belt with lots of rollers in front. This was raised with our Funeral Directors, Keegans after service but got no response from Memoria

Refurbishment looks a big improvement, but all did not go smoothly with the AV system. The music for the hymns was too quiet and the AV reflection time at the committal was cut off part way through.

The crematorium itself was nice however we were charged double price for asking for our slot to be moved from 3pm to 4pm. We changed it a couple of days before the cremation and the slot was available But they said that 4pm Friday was a ‘priority time’ and so more expense. They didn’t inform us of the extra cost when we changed it but we were told a day later when it was too late to change again.

Overall I was satisfied with the service provided, however, I was very disappointed that despite permission from the writer of the music and the maker of the video, the Stuart Townend version of The Lord's My Shepherd video with words was not allowed. The other disappointment was that a CD was not played that my husband Philip Hoadley was singing on. In this age of technology I find that rather incomprehensible and very disappointing. Youngs dealt with communication with you.

It was very clean and tidy, nice touch of green lights around coffin but we had to have a church service that we really didn't want because its far too small, could be at least double the size

The cremation itself ran as it should. The staff were great and the building had been decorated to a high spec making it a pleasant place to be. However the scattering of the ashes was not such an easy process. The attendant failed to meet the family at tj agreed time. I had to call reception to ask where they were. We were told we had the wrong date, which I know is not the case. We then had to sit and watch another funeral enter the crematorium, which was upsetting given how raw our emotions were.

I think it would be helpful to be able to have longer between services as we were unable to greet all attendees and many did not attend the wake. I also found it quite upsetting not being addressed by my correct name. I’m Mrs Lloyd (not Lloys)

Beautiful place and service but 30 mins is not long enough and having another funeral turn up as your leaving is awful and disrespectful in my opinion

I would have given a higher rating had we not had a disappointing greeting on a cold day when we asked to stand in the area between the main door and the door into the service room whilst awaiting the arrival of the funeral car. We had said we would follow the coffin into the service but, owing to the weather, wanted to just wait inside and follow the coffin from there. The lady who greeted us was far from welcoming, neither was she understanding, and simply told us we couldn't. Had I not persisted she would clearly not have let us go inside. The previous funeral party had left at least 15 minutes before yet she was not able to give a good reason as to why we couldn't. All in all a distressing and disappointing start to what was, inevitably, going to be a challenging and upsetting time.

The new seating arrangement is much more comfortable and the fresh decor is nice. However, I had picked 2 tunes for entry, and instead, the first tune was played 3 times. Unfortunately, the Orders of Service had not been ordered by the undertaker and there was no backup available, such as hymn books or the ability to put the hymn words up on the TV screens. Also, the exit music started half way through the committal prayer. That was a shock. I feel people will remember the service for all the wrong reasons

Lovely venue . Had issues sorting out the video and music together, although it came together for the service. Also asked for the curtains to be left open and they were closed. We never communicated with the company it was left to co op funeral people

All in all a nice peaceful setting and nicely conducted service. Disappointingly the deceased's surname was wrong (not just spelt incorrectly, but wrong altogether) on the plaque in the post-service reception area.

Staff helpful, bit windy and cold up there. I had planned what I thought would be a very simple ceremony only about 10 mins with 3 hymns my aunt had chosen playing in the background. Howere I felt the music was too loud, as if we were expected to sing along. I should have asked for quieter music. Everything else went to plan.

All went well the only improvement would have been the music volume could be a bit higher

Excellent facility Webcam disappointing system needs modernisation so whole of chapel is seen not just first 3rows and rear of congregation
